Job Fair

Yesterday, I went to Mid Valley Megaman with few of my course-mate which stay in KL for a short visit to the Job Fair organized by Job Street Malaysia.

It's was nothing special, the design, decoration, etc looks Normal but acceptable. There are four of us heading to the fair located at the 3rd floor at the Exhibition Hall. But only myself and another friend who are busy filling up and submitting our resume (deposit our resume) a term used.

Another two was just accompanying us as they say they are satisfied with their current work and does not plan to change at the nearest time being.

My friends apply few "Big Player" in Malaysia such as Panasonic Malaysia, Philip Morris, JTI, Nestle Malaysia, F&N, Unilever and etc while I just apply two of those mention company as I m trying to get the same job scope as what I am doing right now - Marketing Executive.

Waiting for good news from those company, success or fail does not matter as I'm satisfied with the current one, just to see what is the "Market Price" for us right now.

My Hard Work Finally PayOFF

It's has been months while I waiting for it to be informed by my boss regarding my Increments in-term of Salary & Allowances.

Yesterday, I was unfit for works as I having bad stomachache but still due to working commitment, I was in the office to work.

As I was working with my colleagues, my boss called me and requested me to go to his room for some discussion on works but surprisingly it come out with a good news for ME!

I am so glad that my working commitment are being appreciated and the Best Moment was when he (My Boss) told me the figure (x%) of increment.

I am happy with that offers and hope that he willing to increase the increment in future!

Finally, my Hard-Work is Payoff !!! Thanks God!

1st Blog after Four Month

It's March 2011 and this will be my first Blog for the year 2011. I know it's a bit slow to start off blogging as it's already third month in the year 2011.

Anyways, I would like to share on my working career as an Marketing Executive after being promoted in Oct 2011.

Sometimes, I am extremely Busy while others is extremely Free. But, while I am Free others might not be Free. Therefore, I should not complaining about my Jobs, but still there are something related to my Jobs which I am not really satisfied. What is our passion of Working? Why we Work for? Living? Income? Career Advancement? or Figure?

As the working structure in my current company is changing, it's time to go up to another milestone which is now different from what I am doing in this company. So, let's see what is coming in for the next few month before decide to stay or leave this company.

Marketing & Product Executive

I'm quite busy lately, so I have not much of time to update my blog. Now, I have a bigger responsible in my company as I was given two position at the same time, whereby I am a marketer and also product executive which cover mostly of the company products (Design).

Anyways, there are seem many of my colleagues which wanted to leave this company at the moment, barely because they have better offers + better working conditions perhaps.

I don't whether this sound good or bad as more and more new employees coming into our company. Anyways, I am out of office tomorrow for an outstation trip with my boss to the Johor Bharu (first trip together with my boss), should I be happy or sad!

Should I go or Should I stay at the current company. I was thinking about this again and again and still have not make any decision yet.

Still, the confirmation letter from the current company should be issue within this few day or perhaps next week, but I still thinking of my future in this company as few of my colleagues is going to cross over to others company in the nearest time being, so should I do the same?

I was being told by one of my good friend, that his company is hiring and if I chose to take up that job, I will be working together with him as a Team which remind me our life in the University.

So, should I go or should I stay in the current company?

3 Days Holiday

Yahoooooo, 3 days in a row Holiday starting right now. Actually still at office but since everything has been done, so, consider Holiday to myself.

Tonight might get a chance to meet up with NVA Peng Soon, my University Course-Mate from Penang, who eventually at KL right now for Holiday. Might ajak him for a drink but haven't get his confirmation.

Then, tomorrow, a group of 13 people (mostly my secondary school-mate) will be traveling to Genting Highland. Whether to be in the Casino or no, let's not think about it, but anyways we purchase a vouchers which includes 2 bus trip (go and return), Buffet or Theme Park which cost us around RM45, if I not mistaken.

I m looking forward for the trip, if really got LUCK, might get Green POW from Uncle Lim, wish me LUCK.

Probation Period Come to the END!

Well, My probation period working as Management Trainee in Yen Len Marketing (IKO) is coming to the end in 10 days. So, what is the next step I need to do?

As my colleagues will be the one who her probation period to be end a week earlier than me, well I will try to get her comparison offers which given by our company as the increment for being as a permanent workers in this company.

Basically, what do they offers us? How much increment in term of salary? Benefits?, Intrinsic & Extrinsic Benefits? what else? Anyone who had experiences this in the nearest time being? Can share with me what you people get from your company?

I am looking forward for it as being a permanent workers is always better as the rewards and value we were graded are much more higher, that mean more responsible, more works, more OT, and most important MORE Pay! haha.

Working Life in Yew Len

Have you guys heard about Yew Len Marketing or YLF Manufacturing, yeah, I am currently working for this manufacturing company for the Brand of IKO, ANO, Twinbow, and etc.

Currently, I am the Brand Executive (so called myself as executive), not yet, wait another 1 and a half month whereby I passed my probation period, then I can called myself an Executive. At the moment, I am in-changed of others Brand except IKO as the brand was given to another colleague.

Well, working life in this company is interesting whereby I can consider very lucky as I feel my job scope is not that difficult and is busy when there is a new Brand that we want to launch or doing re-branding of the current brand, brainstorming for new product development and etc.

So, whenever I am free or I feel bored with the work, the internet is available for me to use such as what else if not Facebook-ing. I love the environment in the company, not only work in the office, I also went out to do market survey, and outstation as well.

As you know I am one of those people that dislike staying in the office for long period of time, therefore, I will always find that working outside the office is the Best.

I love to travel outstation because I love the foods, place, and the environment in the place that I going to visit, such as next week I was assign to Bahau for a Promotion matter, yeah, I am looking forward for the trip, besides that, I hope I have a chance to travel not just locally but also internationally.

My Career Start Soon!

My Career will begin as soon as next week whereby I will be around Mid Valley Megamall in KL for my last but not least, as a Event Crew for Disney HK, for their launching on Toy Story 3.

This is just a 12 days events and it's not permanent but I will definitely enjoying it as most of my coursemates will be working too. Therefore, I am sure that all of us will enjoy it as our last gathering before all of us moving on toward our career whereby we will be heading to different company around Malaysia.

I will start my career with Yew Len Marketing in Taman Perindustrian Puchong as a Management Trainee just after the event in MV. So, I am feeling extremely excited to join the company because I love the environment in the company as well as I will be traveling around Malaysia during my time in the company, this is what the person in charge told me during the interview session last time.

I love traveling not because I am lazy but I am a outdo person, whereby I don't like to stay longer hours in the office and this job, I guess I am required to travel a lot to meet clients.

What that?

Actually that is the brands name for the products that I will be dealing with in the nearest period of time, middle of June 2010.

Yes, I landed a job with Yew Len Marketing Sdn. Bhd., a company that dealing with the products. I am entering the company as a Management Trainee for the 1st three month, or probation period before ended up as permanent staffs for the company.

Well, even though they offer me is below what I expected, but at least they willingly to offer me a place instead of like some others company which only lie to me, not to harm the company name, therefore, not to mention it!

Anyways, I am glad that my working career will start soon, just after I finished up my Event job at Mid Valley Megamall which start on 09 June 2010 to 20 June 2010. Immediately a day after the event, I will be working with Yew Len Marketing Sdn. Bhd. There is where my career will start and I do hope I will be able to perform well and get increment or promotion at the nearest time.

Yesterday and today, I went for my interview sessions which I had apply during my past time in UNIMAS. Well, basically, I am grateful because they are company which willingly to offer me a place in their company.

First interview sessions, I have a very low perception toward the interviewers whereby he just requested me to show him my certificates and some simple question and answer whereby the interview lasted for less than 15 minutes, so what do you think? Did I managed to grab the deal? Anyways, the company requested me for an interview session was Basis Corporation, a credit provider for an organization.

Second interview was on the evening which I went to Mid Valley Megamall. The interviewer were from Megaman Electronic and Electric Sdn. Bhd., a energy saving lamp suppliers around the world. The interview session is quite good, and I feel comfortable with it whereby I might be securing a job there as a Management Trainee in the Operation Department as being told by Ms. Joan Lee, one of the staffs or HR people. So, just wait for an offer letter if I get it.

The most excited one will be today interview session whereby the Company was ORIX Auto Leasing Malaysia. The company is located in Taman Shamelin Cheras, which I made an effort to look for the company in the morning before attending the interview session at 2.30pm. The interview session is one of the most I impress, the longest interview session (3 hour), multi-task such as essay writing, financial management test, etc. But, this company or the person in charge is really good and humble person, I feel interesting when I was being interview whereby I feel I am part of them (Alignment). I guess I am the lucky one whereby the Senior Manager of Marketing Department, Mr. Jonathan Chong, offer me his name card and requested me to call him in 5 days time whether I am accepting the offer or not, this mean I am the one who chosen for the position. I feel very happy with everything they offer me, their package are really attractive whereby as a FRESH GRADUATE, I am given a CAR, with others attractive Basic Pay, Allowances, etc. It's such a great offer.

When I back to my own place, I consult my Godfather, and he asked me to take up the offer since it was really a good offer, and of course he is happy for me too. Anyways, I still got 5 days to decide it and I will call Mr. Jonathan Chong immediately after I make the decision. God Bless.

Event Promoter

Just securing my first job after graduation even though it is not permanent, but at least somebody else appreciated my ability to work and requested us again to work for them in a Events on June 09-20 2010 at Central Court Mid Valley Mega-mall.

This time, the client is not Dutch Lady but it is Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Toys Story 3, and when I was informed yesterday about the request for work, without thinking much, I accepted the offers, of course I won't forget my friends such as Sam, Michele, Wai Mun, and Yen Kee which we had been working together with me last year during the Dutch Lady Event.

Therefore, I requested them to join me as well and this time, another new comers is joining us which is Siew Lung, Sam beloved gf. Not forgotten, we are joined by Shaz, the cute and business minded women, haha, just joking, but we love to chat with her since she is so kind and friendly.

Anyways, thanks to Michelle Lim, my boss for the event for securing us a job while at the moment I still keep applying for jobs, but if my future boss requested me to start working, I will just tell him or her that I am only available after the event which is after 20 June 2010.

For those who had confirm to participate in this event as a crew member, don't "fly aero-plane" because I already confirm with our boss about your guys and girls participation in this event.

Hope to get few more Males Crew Member for the events, anyone is interested? Preferable Fresh Graduate from any recognize universities.

Final Examinations

My very Final Examinations is starting tonight at 7.30pm and I believe everyone of us has work hard during the last weeks to do revision and discussion on this examinations. I hope everyone of us will able to passed the examinations and get our-self in the Convocation on 10.10.2010.

Let's start off with the carry mark issues, as for me, I consider myself as very lucky person as I got a very good team-mate or group members that helped me a lot in getting higher marks for our assignments but not quizzes. Therefore, most of our assignments were above the average compare to others groups in our course and because of that, I managed to score a better marks compare to others.

Well, most of my courses that I took this semester (Final Semester), after viewing the carry marks, I know that I already graduates (but not yet to get the correct grade for my Final Year Project) because my carry marks were mostly above 50+ over 65 or 70 and the lowest was 38 over 50 with another 50 mark come in the Final Examination tonight. I hope that I will able to score this paper, so I can push further on my GPA which currently not very good and be one of the disadvantages when I applying for jobs.

Anyways, I looking forward to end my 10 days examinations and get back to Kuala Lumpur once I done my Final Examinations and have a very good rest before start working in June, if I managed to get a job. So, wish me all the Best and I wish you guys and girls too. All the Best.

Two Day

Two day and I will be flying back to Kuala Lumpur for a week longs "study week" holidays before coming back for my very last Final Examinations before I am graduating from UNiMAS.

Well, lots of planning has be made when I touch down in Kuala Lumpur, starting with testing a New Laptop brought from Dell (Delivery schedule today at 2pm), Shopping, Making Purchase of New Mobile (for my sister), still uncertainty in my mind, because I don't which brand to get for her as she want an I-Phone, but my budget is limited as I am not working but being a normal student with study loans which almost reach the stages known as "Broke" and lots more activity but most important, I reached my godfather after more than 1 month without seeing or meeting with him.

The most happy this was My PTA @ FYP, this thesis used most of my time and it's come to the end yesterday, as I make the decision to print it out (finally @ no more draft, a complete copy of thesis) that I need to submit and make a hard cover for it. Before I decide how many copy I need to print out for the "Jilid" or Hard Cover, I asked my supervisor. Here is the conversation.

Me: Ms., do I have "HOPE"?

Jo: "Hope"? What you mean?

Me: 'Hope' lo... because if you say I got "Hope" , then, I print out 4 copy if not according to Dr. C, print 2 copy enough wo.

Jo: emmmm... you want to print how many copy leh?

Me: I very budget lo, if you say I got "Hope", I willingly to pay more. *laughing

Jo: Ok la... Ok la... Get yourself 4 copy.

Me: Yeah. That means got Hope la.. Thank you very much.. I was glad to heard that.

Jo: If cannot get, or kena "Shoot" Don't Blame Me lo. **laughing as well..

Me: Mummy Jo, you Bless me lo.. Pray Hard for me as well. *laughing

That come to the end for my Projects and Thesis in my University Life. Hurray ............. "HOPE"

16 Days

Well, I am looking forward for a count-down for me to be back again in KL for a weeks starting 09 April 2010 before coming back a place called "UNIMAS" for the last final examination that I ever took for my Bachelor's Degree.

I am glad now, since I had done everything that I needed to be done in order to pass-out from UNIMAS and become a fresh graduates, which will stepping in the Working World soon. But, before I step in, I would like to enjoy myself to maximum as I can but starting over as a beginner/ learner in the working world.

I had applied various job opportunities that available in the market via job-street and recently, I got to know that one of my application in under their consideration which means I am one of the chosen applicant for the position. I would be glad if I can get the place in the banking sector.

Today, again, I received another notification that my resume and another friends were being revise from their HR Department of IOI Group. I hope myself and my friends will get the chances being called for an interview and eventually a place in IOI Group!

At the moment, I am counting at 16 days before I will be back again in KL for my study weeks cum holiday+ happy moment in KL. Yeah.

Yes, I am Happy

Well, I can say that I am happy because of many things such as my mid-term examination results, my group and individual assignments, and most important my Final Year Project aka FYP progress was good one even though I need more time to know that as my supervisor took a weeks to reply me about the progress.

Anyways, I am glad as the progress is not too bad, actually she was trying to help me, enable me to protect myself from being "shoot" or "frequently ask questions" by others lecturer during the presentation as she is very kind, I must say that, the entire groups of lecturer in that room is very kind. She actually telling me which points that easily get into trouble and asked me to avoid it in order to have a good progress in the FYP as well as during the presentation.

Therefore, I was extremely happy recently as I did well in my mid-term examination, and now, I got a good news from my supervisor as well. I become addicted to do improving in my research in order to pass it or getting a better grade. Besides that, I know that I am not as stress or tension as others pals or friends which I can say that he or she is not getting the "good" luck as me. Even, my Super Dean List friend, was in stress, not because he is not hardworking, but due to her supervisor which want him to give more efforts from his research. He is actually getting tired from what he had done and still keep it going in order to graduates this May. All the Best to him.

I'm Done with One More to Go

Yes, I am done on my Final Year Project, I am done mostly of our group assignments and now I have only one more to get it done which is Strategic Marketing, and I can look forward for my next trip back to Kuala Lumpur during study week before coming back for my Final Examination.

Wow.. I am done, I am free for this most busiest month as a Final Year Students, and I am need to be just low-profile, as I does not wish to adding more stress and tension to others friends when may not finish yet and in their ways to get everything done.

Now, I just hope for the best from what I had done and hopefully it would enable to graduate on-time which is just around the corner, hopefully by May and I will be stepping in to the working world which I hope to get one either in the private sector or government sector which even I could get. It would be nice if I can go into the banking sector or else I would like to work in a events company because I can always has fun ++ good basic salary+OT as well as allowances, last but not least, it would be nice if I can be a sports teachers at any schools which I can tortured the students, hahaha....

Buck Up & I Need Back-Up

I need to stay alive for this entire month as I can consider it as a critical period for all of us, (Final Year Student). Most importantly, our Final Year Project, as I had been mention about, we need to go through it as soon as possible as I am "Kiasu" being a loser at the end of the day, therefore I am trying to get it done as soon as possible as one of my friend had gone through it and did it in a flying colors. I am not asking for a flying colors, instead I just want to pass it, which a minimum "B" grade would be great achievement.

I need to buck up and start doing it, as by the end of this month, I need to do my presentation as well as final examination preparation which I wishes I could do well and maintaining my GPA, so I could applying for a better job even though I know that I has no working experiences, therefore, I hope my better results would be helping in getting a better job.

I need back-up from my friends as well, as being in a team, I need much of their supports in getting our assignments and assessment done in time, as we has more due-date to be getting done and I hope all of us can get a better grading before we step in to the final examination without much pressure as others who may not doing that well. I hope that my groups will able to get a good grading, as least being 50 and above, so that we will feel the enjoyment before the final examination. I wishes all of us can get it. Gods Bless Us.

Ang Pow$ and randOM taughts!

Since the CNY celebration is over yesterday, it's the time for me to unpacked the Ang Pow$ I get during my CNY from my parents, uncles and aunties, as well as my parents Friend's which I does not need to go "house visiting in order to get one Ang Pow$" and etc. etc. etc.

During CNY, actually it was a BONUS for all of us who are still Single as we are given Ang Pow$ for Free and Flowing in as Much as I wish even I don't have the Belief that ones should go "house visiting" during CNY, as I don't do that (just for myself). Maybe I am too shy and feel guilty as I visiting others people house, his or her parents need to come out with a certain amount of Ang Pow$ to give us. That why I learned from the experience and this few years I try to minimize myself for "house visiting" during CNY.

As I gone bigger and older, I found that I don't need to acts like a Children whereby they rushing to get Ang Pow$ from the married couples or elder person, instead I just leave it to the person whether he or she wanted to give us (ME) the Ang Pow$ or not as I am not really greedy to have ONE as well. I also found out that the values of the Ang Pow$ tend to follow the flow of the economy in a Country such as Malaysia, whereby when the economy is good and booming, the value of the Ang Pow$ tend to be higher in VALUEs, do correct me if I am wrong !!!

Back to my random taught, I just finish my last mid-term in my years in a University Life whereby, Next, I will be taking my Last Final Examination starting on 19 April till 27 April 2010 and I can call it the END for my University Life whereby I eventually be Graduating as a Degree Holder but without working experiences, therefore, it's the same things that I am a beginner when I go into the Working World. I still have lots of things to learn before I can say that I am successful.

Therefore, for the last one month and 10 days, I need to buck up with my Final Year Project (FYP), assignments, mostly we had done, with the hardest assignments, interviewing - my group had finish it and it only left to transcript the data, others assignments seem alright, and last Saturday my group had done the presentation for our Business Law assignments which was A GOOD Job, and next week we will be submiting our Managerial Accounting Assignments before ending with the Strategic Marketing Assessment to be submitted.

The reasons behind this was .....

Lack of industrial training and poor English are among five factors why graduates are unemployed, according to a study conducted by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). Other factors are low problem-solving skills, job-hopping and lack of self-confidence, said Higher Education Ministry student development and affairs director Prof Dr Mohd Fauzi Ramlan.

Graduates were bogged down with their poor communication skills in English, they should improve their command of the language. "They have themselves to blame if they fail to convince employers on their potential," he said when closing a two-day graduate etiquette programme at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu here Saturday.In addition, graduates should also avoid being choosy about jobs and shrug off bad attitude of preferring to work in ones' hometown. - Bernama

I'm Back from CNY !

I am back in my last semester in my University's Life (another 1 months ++) and that all, I will be graduating.

Well, actually I am just back from my weeks long CNY holiday which I believe that I had my best CNY celebration in my 21 years of life. I had lots of great excitements, lots of Ang Pow (which I have not opened it, must wait till ends Chap Goh Mei, 15th Day of the CNY), and I also get extra incomes from Uncle Lim and Uncle Vincent Tan, (Thanks for Everything).

But, I keep it at low, I telling myself that I am only affluent for One Day, and it did happened, whereby on that wonderful days, my spending is like drinking mineral water, of course I don't drink plain water during CNY, as you know I take/consumes more Beers than plain water. Once in a Year that will happen.

Another greats memory during my CNY, I was driving my first SUV Volvo XC-60 car at the speed of 170km/hour in North South Highways, Wow, it was a great experience, and it only took me 2 hours to reach KL from Taiping, Perak. So much of fun for driving a great CAR and not need to think about the summon or compound given by the Police Officer (I don't wish to get one for speeding but I guess I had one for for ignoring the Traffic Light in KL recently).

A part from that, as I mentioning above, myself and another friend were enjoying our Gambling in Genting Highlands, whereby, we managed to get some extra pocket $$$ from the the Casino. Both of us really enjoying that day even though I am not a heavy gamblers but once a year is ok right? A friendly reminder to everyone, "Win and Leave the Casino" or you will be addicted and become loser at the ends.

That all for now, I am back to my works, which I had a Mid-Term to deal with on 1 March and lots of assignments.

Examination Over, Here we Come CNY

Yeah... the Examination is over and now Here we go Chinese New Year. By the ways, I still have lots of assignments to deal with, starting with the Managerial Accounting, my Boss already divided the parts of our assignments and I was given a due-date for it.

Yet, back to the examination I gone through, thanks to the exercises given by MT (the lecturer), I am pleased that I manage to do the examination on the quantitative parts, but not the theory parts, which offered 30 marks, totally gone for mostly of us, including myself, but at least I managed to do to the very best in the quantitative questions given, as I had practice mostly of the exercises given by MT.

Therefore, no more examination now, and I would like to take few days rest before continues with the Assignments, Final Year Projects as well as others sorts of things. So now, I would like wishes all Chinese who celebrates Chinese New Year, Happy Prosperity Chinese New Year and Gong Xi Fa Cai.

One Down and One to Go

One Examination Down this morning and One more Examination for me to go on before I heading back to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

The examination this morning, (Business Law) cannot be judge as EASY and cannot be judge at DIFFICULT, it actually an easy Examination if "we" did read (bibles), the textbook that we brought for the price of RM46. Therefore, I should be glad if I can be an average results of this Examination which offered a total of 20 marks.

Next, I will need to do some exercises on the accounting questions given by the lecturer in order to get more understanding of the Questions that will be test during the Examination, next Tuesday. So, no resting on the weekends and I belief hard work will bear the fruits when I enter the examination hall.

Six Days

Well, Six days, that all I need to go through before I am back in Kuala Lumpur for my Chinese New Year Celebration. In Six Day lots of things which I need to go through such as examination, replacement classes, and others.

For my last Six Day in UNIMAS, I will be having Examination (Business Law on Friday), replacement class (Business Law on Saturday), classes (Marketing Communication on Monday) and Examination (Managerial Accounting on Tuesday) before I heading back to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

Therefore, I need to buck up or I die, a lecturer told me when I was asking him something during the class, I asked him "Do we given other choices?" He reply Yes. So, I ask him what is the others solutions/choices? He said, Take it or Leave It, and See me again next semester!

Oh, gosh, as I do not wish to get into trouble, which will definitely affects my future. I have no choices to chose, but just accepting the facts, I still need to go on with the assignments and examination as well as Final Year Project (FYP). I just need to be strong and work hard for the remaining days in UNIMAS, till ends of March, and that will tell me where is my future!!

Life as a Final Year Student

Life still need to be gone through even though I know that I am not happy at the moment due to personal reason but I am cheating myself as being as happy as others. You saw me as a talkative person, actively participate during lectures, seem to be happy, but actually I am sad in my heart. The reason of being sad was just too personal for me to mention out, so, I just decided to gone through my life as usual and end my University's life as a student and enter the world of being a employee if I am working for others or maybe myself being a employer, who know right?

As a Final Year Student, it mean I need to go through a busy life such as working people, 9am-5pm but I am just as early as 7am-6pm as I need to attend classes at 8am, 3 day per week and then, I will stay back in the Lecturer room to do my PTA, assignments, and notes till the sun had gone. It not an easy as more and more assignments and exercises coming after us, and with the CNY is around the corner, would I able to finish it?

Well, there is also good news from the lecturer, whereby we will be given a Mid-Term Test just before we all off, back to our weeks long holiday for the CNY and I am just hoping that I will be able to do well, not need to be too good, an average results will be suitable with my style which will enable me to narrow down the probability of getting hyper-tension or stress during the Final Examination.

Today, I just about to finish my Chapter 4 with the help of somebody, "Sifu" who are kindly lending his hand to help me going through the analysis part. Therefore, my Chapter 4 is about 85% done and just need to consults another experiences lecturer to confirm it back whether the analysis was done in a correct method or not.

So, for this coming week, I need to buck up and do more exercises and readings which I hope it would help me during the examination.

Last week, myself and few of my friends went out from UNIMAS to adventures one of the Best Steak House's available in the town of Kuching and the price for the item we orders were quite reasonable.

The taste of the steaks is overall good compare to others steak house that I had been in Kuching such as Richmond Places and Westwood or even Chef at Home's.

The Steak House's is located next to BanQuet Restaurant and nearby Boulevard Shopping Complex.

Here are the review of the steak that we had that night.

This is what I ate for my dinner that night. This Chicken steak (Rosemary Chicken) come with some vegetables and mashed potato and a bowl of mushroom sup which the taste of the item that night is wonderful and rated highly. Overall rating 9/10 and the price is RM17++.

This is what Sam ate that night, Beef steak (Sizzling Sirloin) bit hot because of the Sarawak homemade black pepper and Sam was complaining about the potato skin which he ate.. hahaaaa.. Overall rated highly but a bit disappoint for him, price range from RM24++. Rated at 7/10.

This item is order by one of my friends who does not wish to be recognize due to certain reason (Love Reason), haha.. He was ordering this simple Fish n Chips but come with a surprise for him as the food was rated lowly but it was outstanding that night. The portion of the food was very surprising us as there are two slides of Dory Fish and large amount of french fries and tartar sauce. This product cause the eater RM16++. Overall rated at 9/10.

This is the best item of the night, I percepts it as the eater rated it highly and it not going to disappoint her as well. The item was Cheese Chicken Steak (Chicken Parmesan), more Cheese which every bite of the steak you will definitely get a bite of the cheese as well. It come with simply vegetables and overall it rated at 9.5/10 and price at RM19++.

This it the gifts (free) item of the night whereby every set of the steak are entitled to get one bowl of mushroom soup and a piece of garlic bread or a glass of fresh orange juice.

Sam seem promoting its steak at first but he was the big let down by the taste of the Beef steak that night. Anyways, Cheer Up friends.

The overall bills that come that night (4 person), very reasonable price and I suggest that you guys and girls should try it as least once if you are in Kuching Sarawak.

Weekends!

It seem the days is going in a very fast rate, and another weeks had passed, it now the second weeks I had been in Unimas and everything going in a fine ways.

It seem the weekends is here but I am out of activities, oops I must be-careful with the wordings I used, as friends in the campus or readers of this blog will tend to use this reason to persuade me to do somethings else.

Therefore, I know that I am out of activities compare to what I used to do when I was in KL, but I am happily mention that I was controlling my own spending better compare to what I does in KL, whereby I was a heavy users. And I want to admit that I am not a rich person as being mention by others (friends), you know who you are and I was just an ordinary students who had a study loans from PTPTN.

So, what activities on this coming weekends? As my friends cum driver is going back his hometown this afternoon, I was left alone. So, what can I do besides studying and do revisions? I hope that I will not gone through a very bored coming weekends.

Out to Town? Stay at Room? Go CAIS? etc....

SPSS Version 17

Well, just a moment ago, I went to meet one of the FEB technician cum computer software provided to get my laptop equip with the latest SPSS version in order for me to start my analysis for my Final Year Project.

Less than half an hours, the installation were done and now my laptop were fully equip with a 30 days trail version of the software and if I am lucky and hardworking enough, I guess I will be finish analyzing the data before the expire date.

Therefore, now I already started to keys in the data that I have and as soon as possible I will start to analyze the data and hopefully nothing will trouble me during the period.

As I wanted to key in the data, I found out that some of the respondents had defected my questionnaires, it really sad for me, wasted my $$$ to print out the questionnaires, anyways I don't know who is the person as most of my questionnaire were passed to another friends in Kuala Lumpur to help to get the respond from but when I look to the questionnaires when I received from her, as today I check it out, I found that, some the questionnaires were defects.

Oh No, Please Don't TROUBLE me, I hope I can finish Chapter 4 before I go back for my Chinese New Year Holiday.

Core Subjects

Finally, I had attended every courses that I take as a CORE subject this semester and the reaction is good. So far, all the subjects did not disappoint me yet, and I hope it would not let me down as well.

This morning, I went to Managerial Accounting lecture taught by Mr. Micheal Tinggi which was intend to be a bit bored but it was really make me to pay more attention as the subject will be sooner and sooner become tougher. Therefore, to make us become expert in his subject, we were rewarded with the 1st individual assignment which in the main time was acting as a Tutorial for us in order to enable us to become more understandable.

Nothing much happen, but I would like to share one experience with you all, whereby based on my observation as well as I am one of the buyers and users, I was totally blur when I having/ making purchase on the food in the area of Kota Samarahan as the sellers (not everyone) but I experience twice in two days, the will just simply charges you extra even though you get the same amount of food as usual. Why this happen in the world, it seem very unfair.

What do you think? Do you people experiences it before?

The class had started!

Finally, I was attending my class last week and it's still early to predict how it will go, am I right? Not really in the mood of studying but at least I hope that I will gone through it well, if nothing bad happen to me.

So far, I had attended 3 out of 4 courses that offer to me this semester and I feel it warm except for Business Law and Ethics. The class conducted by Mr. Shahrizal was the best so far and Mr. Tony Wilson is not far behind, he was good too, and tomorrow I will be attending another first class which was tough by Mr. Micheal Tinggi, regarding Managerial Accounting.

Not a bad New Year and New Semester start for me since that I guess I was in a bad luck, seem everything not in the right directions and bad luck seem hunting on me. I need to buck up !!! Even the Internet Connection was bullying me, since last Thursday, my connection was down, hopefully the problem will be resolve by this week.

Have a busy week to go on, need to read materials and do the tutorial given by Mr. Tony even though Ms. Lina has the answers, we will need to read and do it as well.

2nd Day in Unimas

A very bad day for me I guess, I was in the old campus in the morning to get some stuffs done and went back to the college for lunch. Instead of only having lunch, I was adding some spice on it whereby in the main time I was eating, I get myself a treat of an old movies, maybe I have watch it few time but what to do, I was out of Movies and Drama, therefore, I was watching Fast and Furious again and again.

In the main time watching and having my lunch, my mind was not focusing on the meal or either the movies but I was thinking of somethings else, what was that? It was about my Final Year Project, because I need to buck up myself if I don't want to extend another semester here, and therefore, I was once again back to Old Campus to get my laptop equip with the SPSS software that I needed to get my data to be analyze but unfortunately, the person in charge of giving the free software was not around, he was off duty and I cannot get my stuff done.

As I was unable to get the stuffs done, I was having nothing to do in the main time, I feel that I am waiting my time but what to do right? I have nothing that I can do as the person I looking for what not around. Bad day to start with, might be bad New Year as well as Bad Semester !!!

1st day in Unimas again

Just back from the long holiday and like usual I need to unpacked all my stuffs once again but this time I was lucky because I was not in the mood to put my stuffs at the store room as being told by the college authority but taking a gamble by just putting my stuffs inside the cupboard and keep it there.

The good side is whereby I not need to climb up to the 3rd floor of the store room and get all the stuffs, therefore, just a moment ago, I use around 2 hours to clean my room and unpacked all the stuffs and another good things was the weather is cold (raining since I reach my college), therefore I don't have a bad running rose happen to me again, as I was very allergic on it.

Starting next week, my schedule will be very pack and I will become very busy with my FYP round two and all the core course, hopefully I will managed to cope on it and did well before I graduated from Unimas.

My New Year wishes was simple, whereby all of us stay healthy and all the best. Good Luck to all my Course-Mate, hopefully we all will be able to graduates on the same time.

Last week in Kuala Lumpur before I going back to Unimas, well quite happy this weeks because I receiving lots of Christmas Presents and spending a lots too.

15 Days to Fly again

It's time to fly again and it is getting sooner, I will be flying back to Unimas on the 5th of January 2010 on a morning trip alone this time since one of my friends was traveling back to Unimas earlier than usual, as plan.

Therefore, I will utilizing the remaining days or life in Kuala Lumpur, hopefully in a happy mood since there are lot's of trouble, it's complicated.

Anyways, I am glad that I managed to pass the examination and going through the 1st semester without any troublesome, and it was a good results, for your information, I was very happy for it, hahaha.

Well, about the HTC Touch 2, I am utilizing it even though I am not mastering it well, it's really complicated as what can I say, but I really love the gadget.

How much it cost? Sorry it's should be keep secret, if not people will start to call me "Orang Kaya Raya". I don't want to take the title from one of my Universities Friends.

So, Please don't ask me how much the Gadget, I guess you guys or girls can find it at the telecommunication outlet.

Life's in Brickfields

It had been 2 weeks since I am back in Kuala Lumpur and I am really enjoying my life here because I can do whatever I like, not like what I had to bare with when I was in the University.

I am having a very healthy lifestyle whereby I sleep early and wake up early and starting the day off with a good breakfast, and having it with my godfather, it really enjoying moment as I like to be with him lending a hand to help him in whatever he needs in his Laundry Shop.

Therefore, it not the $$$ matter as I was helping him in the shop whereby it was operated in Brickfields, a place where I live for a most 15 years but I was only know my godfather and become closer to her few year back, the reason, it's complicated, others people might not understand but not both of us, I means myself and my godfather.

Even though I was extremely free, still I need to do some observation in the area, Brickfields, as I was planning to distributing my Questionnaires in the nearest time, I hope so, because I haven't stated it yet, still enjoying the life here, having good meal and good rest.

Everyday seem a happy day but who know what am I thinking in my heart? It's really Complicated.

Three & Four are Down, It's Over

Third Examination were done in the morning session which I think I managed to do moderately well, as I does not want to be over the confident which might affect my grades later on. I managed to answer 4 out of 4 questions that being asked by the Lecturer, Dr. K and mostly of my friends are doing well as well, excepts for certain course-mates which really DUMB, and cannot do the questions given today.

After that, in the evening session, I was down with another examination, which is my last paper of the semester and a bit of uncertainty, whereby I was not alert that one of the question have two parts which I missed the first part of the question which require me to write about Web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 which I really KNOW the answer but because I am DUMB, I missed out the part and I am sure that I will regret later on when the results were announced.

Anyways, It's Over, the busies semester were off to take a one and a half month break from activities, I will be heading back to KL as soon as I can, which I will take a morning flight back to KL from Kuching. This time I will fly with MAS instead of AirAsia because MAS are creating value by satisfying the market better than its competitors in term of PRICE. Therefore, I am opt for the MAS services instead of AirAsia for the one and a half hour journey tomorrow.

Stay tune for more posting, but the posting will be very uncertainty since I have nothing much to post in order to satisfying the market better than others blogger.

Two Down

Two down, and Two to go on Thursday and I will be off back to Kuala Lumpur on Friday. I am waiting for that since from the start I am returning to UNIMAS, what a bored weeks I had gone through.

Nevertheless, the examination just now was a very SIMPLE Question from the view of the Lecturer itself, but not the students, even the most "geng" students also feel wanna to Cry. According to one of my friends, he will be making history this semester whereby he will obtain a "C" results, hahaha.

While another friends who was sitting below me was DREAMING for at most half an hours before she start writing, omg.... and what am I writing?

I just wrote whatever come into my mind which I guess are relevant but I does not know whether the Lecturer could understand my point or not. Anyways, it's over and Let's think about the next examination which will be on Thursday.

One Examination is down, and three more to go.

Therefore, I will need to continue with my revision in order to achieved my target, you should know by now what is my target for this semester.

Just a short comment, nevertheless nothing much is special except I was done with one of my examination just morning ago, a two hour exam, which I admitted that I have a little trouble, I cannot answering well for my Question 2, anyways, I still hope that there will be some marks for what I offer to the lecturer to read about.

Final Examination

Quite a boring week that I have to gone through it, why am I suffering myself like that? As I was a wake early back for my final examination, it was a very bored stuff to deal with because I hardly can concentrate on my revision.

As I was back in Unimas, most of the time spend were on revision, but dunno whether I am able to answering the Final Examination Question that given by those lecturer, starting with Dr. Ernest, then Dr. Rabaah, next will be Dr. K and lastly Mr. Syahrul Nizam.

B4 the examination start, I was having a happy and sad mood whereby some of the carry mark I got was extremely OUTSTANDING and some were TERRIBLE. Why cant I get all outstanding Carry Mark? I really hope to get at least once Dean List in my studies here, and this semester were my Last Hope I guess, and I really hope that I can get it.

With 2 outstanding carry mark and 2 terrible carry mark, can I deal with it to get at least once DEAN LIST? I am not too sure, I always have no confident in answering in the Final Examination as I know it would be freaky Difficult to give the BEST answer that required by the lecturer.

What can I do, my final examination is on Monday till Thursday and that will be end of the semester, in my mind, I have nothing else beside going back to KL, as it is nothing much I can do if I really cannot answer in the Final Examination, just the Gods know whether I has putting effort inside or not.

As least, I was lucky compare to others course-mate in the Marketing course, as some of the lecturer here was killing the students by giving extremely LOW marks for their project cum assignments, whereby among the lowest was 8/30 whereby the total carry mark for the students was 20+ over 65 and with Final Examination offering 35 mark, can their passed this paper? As we are the Final Year Students, if I fail any CORE subject this semester, it definitely we required/ NEED to be EXTEND as the coming semester, this subject or courses were not being offered, so what you think? Are the students fault, or the Lecturer expectation were extremely HIGH?

Luckily I am not in the group of students, if not I guess I will be one the students that needed to be EXTEND, (touch wood), I really does not hope for that, but it was a bit painful as some of my course-mate were those in the group...... as their carry mark were not really helping them this time around. While others were suffering, I am consider as one of the luckiest as I were having among the BEST course-mate to be in the TEAM to due with the Project and Assignment, and we gone through it MODERATELY, and some courses were just too OUTSTANDING. Thanks friends, Sam, Allen, Jeffrey, Michele and Siew Lung, as well as others who are helping hand in the assignments and project, without you guys I am sure I am one of the students being in the groups that MIGHT need to be EXTEND due to Failure.

The Outstanding Results I get were the Strategic Management- 56 over 60, Web Design- 50.67 over 60 and the Poor or consider LUCKY were the Research Marketing- 50/70 and International Marketing- 46+ over 70 after being told that every group will be further deducted 1.5 marks for some reason that being rise by some students which negotiate with Dr. Rabaah.

Therefore, I am hoping the Best will be coming to my way and go through it MODERATELY.

Boring Week

Well, I am back to Unimas as per yesterday evening, taking a flight from KL around 4pm and reach Kuching at 6pm. It's a bit early for me as my examination will be only starting next Monday, so I have a long weekdays and weekends for me to further my revision which I already did some during my time in KL.

So, as soon as I am back to Kuching, I know that it would be a very bored 11 days for me to adapted as I cannot concentrate more or better as I did in KL. Why? You should know by now, there are many inconsiderate peoples living in the same apartment as my. Anyway, forget about them and I definitely push myself to more revision in order to achieved my dream for this semester, at least if I am in a good position to get an Dean List award. I hope I can do that, hahaha, if I managed to answering well during my examination, anything would be possible.

Today, I wake up as usual, early in the morning but a bit late compare to when I am in KL, as I usually wake up at 6am. But, since I am back in Unimas, I decided to get more rest, I tell myself to wake up by 7am, but I didn't, hahaha, too lazy, so I end up by continuing my sleep till 8.30am, and no perfect breakfast for me as what I get in KL, here I only afford to get myself a cup of coffee and few slide of Gardenia Bread. So pity right?

Then, I took a bus to East Campus to get some information about my carry mark, but a bit disappointed as no many carry mark were ready for us to update it, so I ended up doing an hour of revision at the study room nearby to Dr. Rabaah room. After that, I went to the Faculty office to get my examination slip in order to allowed me to go through the final examination.

In the afternoon, myself and my Driver cum coursemate, Sam and his partner, we went to met up with John in Wisma Seberkas, because Sam wanted to due some error with the car by going to meet a mechanic recommended by John, and we ended up by free services whereby there is no part of the car that need to be replace, and Sam was glad because his wallet won't be slimmer and slimmer again. Before we went back to Unimas, we treated ourself at Batu 6 1/2 near to Kota Sentosa for our lunch whereby Sam and his partner having Kolok Mee and I get myself a bowl of Chicken Rice.

Back to Unimas, I wanted to continue with my revision, but I did not, why? I am too LAZY.. hahahaaaa, anyways I need to do that .....

What I Did in KL for the Last 1 week?

Well, I am back in KL since last Friday and today is another Friday, that means I will be back to Sarawak soon, 72 hour from now.

Anyways, I really appreciated what I did in KL and it was lot's of fun and spending too, I spend a lot whenever I come back to KL. Why?

First, I spend for foods, which everyday I get to try a new type of foods and what I eat was consider expensive but it's worth because I get to have to foods mostly together with my GODFATHER, from morning till night, so whatever I get for myself, he will get as well because I get for him as well and the funny things was he was complaining about stomach ache because what he usually eat was really different since I was back in KL. Anyways, it's not a big matter, as long as he is stay healthy and I don't mind to spend extra foods that I get for myself and share with him.

Next, I was also getting a new mobile as my GODFATHER accidentally put his mobile into the washing machine and I need to get a new mobile as replacement for him, I hope he like that, because whenever he get a new mobile I am the one who choose and get for him.

Nevertheless, for the last 1 week, even though I am not as hard working as others, but I admit that I try my best to do some revision at home as well as in my Godfather Laundry Shop. I do my final assignment on the first 2 day since I was back in KL, the following 4 day I do revision on International Marketing which I admitted that it's really confusing, really difficult to understand, and lastly yesterday and today, I did some revision on Research Marketing and I will eventually take a 2 day off before I back to Sarawak to continue my others part of revision which I really need to do in order to get good results this semester, I don't hope high but I hope for something outstanding.

Last but not least, I was overjoy since I know that I get a very good carry mark for my Web Design which I really does not think I will get that WELL. So, I guess you should know what I get? It definitely very good carry marks, which enabled me to get a better grade in Finals. I hope I can do that in order to increased my CGPA.

That all for now, back to Sarawak soon, and will be back to KL again on the 13 November 2009.

Back in KL

An hour to go before I will departing from Kuching International Airport, back to Kuala Lumpur LCCT. It is long waiting for me since my last trip back to Kuala Lumpur, it's already 3 month, and this first time in many semester I gone through, while I did not going back to Kuala Lumpur as I was back each study week or holidays.

This semester is a bit different compare to others semester whereby I unable to make an advance booking for my air ticket which eventually causes pain to my wallet, therefore I chose not to got back during the holiday that was granted by the University.

Anyways, I manage to get a cheap flight for my trip later, whereby the advance booking were made since last semester, I guess early in April 2009, therefore, I am back to Kuala Lumpur soon.

I wishes I could enjoy every second I staying in Kuala Lumpur as I will be in high stress mode by the early of November since I am due to sit for the final examination. Good Luck to the entire readers of this blogs, I guess it come from mostly my course-mates.

I will be in Kuala Lumpur from 23 October 2009 to 03 November 2009 before coming back to Kuching aka Unimas for Final Examination and back again to Kuala Lumpur on 13 November 2009.

Beliau berkata, kejadian itu menyebabkan penerbangan AK5606 itu terpaksa mengalihkan laluan ke Terminal Penerbangan Murah (LCCT) di Sepang.

"Sebaik mendarat, ambulans yang sudah sedia menunggu di lapangan terbang itu terus membawa wanita berkenaan bersama bayinya ke Hospital Putrajaya untuk rawatan," katanya ketika dihubungi di sini, hari ini.

Unimas Clinic

I just consulting a Doctor in Unimas Clinic and I really does not understand why my service were delay even I am the 1st person to get a number to consult the DOCTOR, a new doctor again, hardly understand what he speak to me, izzit my English so bad?

I was place on number 23 but I was uneasy after another students bypass me whereby she was the one who get the treatment but she was on number 25. What Service Quality is that?

If I still given a chance to edit my Final Year Project, I guess I will definitely do "SERVICE QUALITY Provided by UNIMAS CLINIC". I am sure the results in under my prediction as well.

Do you see that? after we went to check our body pulse in Bilik Rawatan, I was told to wait outside, so do the others patients. But, unfortunately, I was bypass by the number 25 patient who seek for treatment as well.

Do you see that? Patient number 25 get the service 1st, then is my turn, number 23 and lastly patient number 24. What method that they using to consults a patient?

Last but not least, the waiting time for a patient is far from what is expected, I was in the clinic around 2.40pm but only receiving my treatment at 3.15pm? If I am very sick, I guess I will fainted because of the waiting time, luckily I was having some running nose and sore throat, not serious, just seek for FREE Treatment and Medicine since I was already pay for the service in my Fees, so how bout you? Has you gone for the treatment in your Universities Clinic, since you are making payment as well?

Sickness

Why am I writing about sickness? I guess myself is getting into trouble already whereby just another 2 day before I taking a flight going back to Kuala Lumpur, I am fall in sick.

Oops, I hate that, even tough I was having a normal lifestyle which I slept early and wake up as early as 7.30am, I still fall in sick. What this happen during crucial period, really hate that.

That is the poor thing, I get myself trouble into running nose, since this morning, I guess due to the cold water that I took during my bath, or it is due to a bad environment. Both of this also got affect on me, while another things that still troubling me is the Strategic Management, which I was allocated some of the part of the assignment, as well as my individual Scenarios Analysis and Recommendation.

I need to take medicine to cure it as soon as possible, or I might ending up a sick person in the plane on Friday. So, what I did was taking two tablets of Paracetamol at 5pm and later before I sleep I will take another two tablets. I hope that really help to cure the Virus in my body.

As I was entering DK5 in East Campus for Dr. K last class, I wonder that why the ladies in the class was screaming as even their idol Dr. K was not in the class yet. hahaha..

This is because they discover that one of the largest Scorpion even I have not seen it b4 is going in their way (to them), therefore, what they did was SCREAMING for HELP but during that moment, there was not even one gentlemen were in the class.

Therefore, they are waiting for the Superhero to come and save their life. haha, the man was not me, but another one who have the POWER and Influences in the class, the ladies secret admirer.

Public Holiday on 16 September

I come to the news that starting next year, Malaysia Day on 16 September every year will become a PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

The date Sept 16 will officially be celebrated as Malaysia Day and will become a National Public Holiday starting from next year.

The day is currently a holiday in Sabah and Sarawak as the official birthdays of ther respective Yang di-Pertua Negeris.

On Sept 16, 1963, Sabah and Sarawak, together with Singapore, joined the Federation of Malaya to form Malaysia. Sarawak had earlier attained self government status on July 22, 1963, while Sabah and Singapore gained the status on Aug 31 the same year.

Before that, Sarawak was ruled by the “White Rajahs” of the Brooke dynasty while Sabah was the British colony of North Borneo. Singapore was also a British colony.

The Cobbold Commision was formed to get the views of the people of Sabah and Sarawak on the future of their territories and found that there was overwhelming support for joining Malaysia.

Slowing Down Progress

It seem that all the blogger in TMT1013 has slowing down their blogging behavior including myself, I won't denied it as I have not blog for the last 3 days, I guess so, why? I have nothing to post and I am quite busy with something else, sorry, it's secret. Anyways, all the evaluation on projects, assignments, blogs and etc. will be end this week, I guess as latest on Friday, whereby we handed our last TMT1013, Web Design Assignments and that is it, we can call it THE END.

But, that does not means I can slowing down myself as I still need to cope with the Final Examination, My Final Year Project (FYP) and most important my revision for the coming examination starting on the 9th November 2009. I have around 2 weeks to deal with that, but before that, I still need to deal with the Strategic Management assignments that we need to submit next week but I have not start anything, oh my god!!!

In addition, an half and hour ago, I just went to met my FYP supervisor's and again I need to do re-editing again, but I hope this will be the last one, I am really hope for that as I does not want to waste my time on that work again and again, therefore, I am looking for help from someone that is expert, hahaha, and he is helping me, wow.... gonna to get this work done soon.

Anyways, I hope everyone will be enjoying the workload (FYP) and end it as soon as possible in order to concentrate on others part of the studies will is important as well.

Yesterday, at 7pm-9pm, myself and few of my friends were attending our Dr.K class at DK 2 which is the time for us to ask whatever that related to our F&B assignments.

While most of our coursemate show him there work, the reply was as usual "rubbish" but one of my friends, not to mention who he is, clever boy, haha, manage to satisfy Dr.K with his word, whereby Dr.K said he is the only one who get it correct, wow, sound really geng, of course he is good, because he show Dr.K his VALUE. So, he and his others group member were in the right track for the assignment and most of us need to work harder to satisfy the lecturer, including me.

One things that I discover in the class was the lecturer always like to deliver a hidden message whereby he want his students to have critical thinking in order to understands what he want, and he won't directly hints us about what is the requirement that he want but will tell us indirectly. Therefore, he is not as bad as what we all think about him, but actually how translates or understand the dialogs or words that he mention to us during the class.

Lastly, before the class ended, Dr.K is telling us his story, actually it's secret, but I guess most of my friends in my course, Marketing, does not have my blog address, therefore I would like to share this information with others. Actually, Dr.K is from a well-known family as well as RICH, I guess so, his father is the formal Vice Chancellor of Unimas while his mother was a formal Dean in Faculty of Social Science. Most of his family members were educated including himself, whereby Dr.K was studying at one of the most top rank universities in the world, if I am not mistaken, as he told us, rank 16 in the world. He obtain his educating from University of Melbourne before further it at ANU, whereby it stand for either Australia National University or others, but I guess it stand for Australia National University.

Wow, it's VALUE, therefore Dr.K is valuable as well.

I hope that everyone that have negative image on him should change our perception on him, I don't denied that at first I have negative perception on him too, but before his class ended next week, I guess I already change the ways I look at him, and he is good actually, but only difficult to understand whatever he is deliver during the class, and lastly of course I know that, especially the ladies on the class feel uneasy with his "personal space", hahaa, be cool anyways.

Field Trip to Kuching Port

Actually, we are not in the mood to go for the field trip as we still have others more important work to deal with but unfortunately, most of us already sign up to follow this Boring trip, last month. Therefore, we need to go since Dr. Rabaah is following us to the trip, but she is a very clever women, whereby, she looked for a graduated "senior" to cater us for the entire trip instead of she is following us, I feel cheated since she was in the bus and give us some briefing before she left the bus, maybe she have too much of works to deal with.

Anyways, I am not one of the victim that being cheated, whereby there are lots more, but there are clever-mate as well, whereby they sign up to follow this trip but they failed to come, skipping this trip, who are they? "Siapa Makan Cili dia Rasa Pedas". During the entire trip, I admit that I seldom pay attention to what is happening there, we went to Pusat Latihan KPA, then heading to KENARI Port for some observation cum experiences on how the activities is going on there. My main duty on the trip was as a camera man, hahaaaa, I am one of the most "silly" guys I guess, others friends were busy listening to briefing but I am the one who act like a professional camera man "syok sendiri".

Later in the afternoon, most likely I will go to KPA with my others Marketing coursemate for a 4 hour journey to discover the life inside KPA such as what they do daily, who they deal with and etc.

Therefore, I need to transform back to my normal lifestyle in order to follow this trip which will be held later on around 1.00pm and I don't want to be in a Zombies Stage whereby if I don't sleep yesterday night, I guess I will be one of the most Tired Zombies. haha, so I decided to sleep early as well as enough sleep, I guess I sleep more than 8 hours, in order to replace my energy for the last two day.

Well, if I have chance to take some photo in KPA, I will upload it in the blog later on, maybe tonight or early in the morning, if I still awake and the Internet Connection is Good. Therefore, stay tune for the next posting about Kuching Port Authority.

Life at Night

I am really pissed off for the last two days, since the Unimas Internet Server were not in the working condition, "down" for some reason, I guess due to the heavy raining season that occur nowadays and therefore, I cannot get myself connected to the daily must do, which I need internet connection to do my stuffs such as reading online newspapers, blogging, looking for information for my assignments and etc. Finally, I am glad that the internet connection is in a stable condition since midnight ago, and now I can do all sort of things that I need to do.

Today, was the final class for my Research Marketing, a class that taught by Dr. Ernest, whereby the lecture today was a short and simple one, even myself cannot understand what he is teaching, but at least I know what is my carry mark for this subject, not very good, but at least, I pass this subject already, with 50% over 70% which I get, and hopefully I can get at least 20% from 30% that being offer from my final examination, which will enabled me to get at least a B+ results. Besides that, once again, I was looking forward to handled my Final Year Project to my supervisor, Ms. Josephine, but I was denied again, sad, need to add some item again, wtf, always re-edit and edit, edit, and edit, until when I need to do that? I was told to add conclusion for every chapter that I did, does that a MUST? oh, nothing to say la, why don't she told me that last week when I was consulting her? Nvm, I will just "hantam" and "taruk" whatever that get into my mind now since I was damm Fresh, early in the morning, hahaha.

Again, I was on bed very early today, around 5.00pm and I was skipping my dinner whereby I was awake early in the morning hours, right now, but of course I not now, because I was already awake around 1.00am, and I was having my supper, and of course a cup of coffee again, I guess I will staying awake to do my editing and looking forward for my breakfast and go for class later on. Life at night is really good for me, I feel comfortable and I definitely can pay must attention to what I need to done, even though I know that is not good for our health but I must do that since I cannot sleep well at night, if I chose to sleep early at night, I will be awake 2 hour or 3 hour later, which I will definitely feel very tired the on the next day. That all for now, will continue blogging whenever I am free, looking forward to end my suffering here, soon. Yeah, 10 more days before I will be off back to Kuala Lumpur.

Shabu Shabu

This is not the real Shabu Shabu as the one in Kuala Lumpur, but at least it is one of the most similar one if we compare it with what we get in Kuala Lumpur.

Yesterday night, I was in the Restaurant for the first time in Sarawak, we discover the shop last month and we had a chance to had our food there. Overall the price is reasonable with the good dine-in environment and it's extremely cold, I means inside the restaurant. But, when we start having our food, our body temperature become normal and it's really nice and good experience as well. Overall, we are happy with that, thus, we are planning to recommend the restaurant to our friends who is in Sarawak and especially, UNIMAS Friends.

End of the Presentation

Well, around 4.00 pm just now, the entire class that choose to do presentation for our International Marketing courses has ended the presentation session in style? Why? It seem that every group is really preparing well and did well during the presentation, and therefore, all of them are getting good evaluation from the lecturer. How was it? I guess most of the presenter get 70% and above and this is means, 3.5% over 5% and I guess it we should be glad for that, am I right?

My group is the third last group to do the presentation whereby most of the presenter has went home after they wherever their presentation is over, therefore, not much of our classmate were in the class and I guess we presenting to the lecturer and the wall, but not our friends (classmates) since most of them went home. Therefore, the eyes contact is really important for us since there are less members in the class and who do we need to focus at? hahaha, it's easy, just looked at the lecturer, Dr. Rabaah, and definitely she will impress by your eyes POWER. Eyes Power? You know I know, what is that means for. You give her your best shot, and your will definitely deserve a good mark, such as what we did in our group, we support each others during the presentation and make the presentation as simple as we call.

Therefore, overall, we are scoring a good marks, whereby one of my group members emerge as the TOP speaker of the day, with 80% over 100%. I guess so, do correct me if other presenter got higher than him. Besides that, other speaker in our group also did very good, whereby they score 73% over 100% and I am the worse of the worse, whereby my score rate is lower by 73%, it's sad for me, according to Dr. Rabaah, I lost most of my mark to the gesture, as I am presenting well, without looking to the slide and straight to the point, sadly, my hand was in the pocket most of the time, therefore I am the big loser of the day, if not I will be one of the TOP presenter, I guess so, "syok sendiri". Anyway, it is over, therefore, I will have a good break tonight and have a better workout tomorrow for our next assignment, Strategic Management. I will definitely have a good sleep tonight, since I was not in a mood to sleep yesterday, only 2 hours of rest and I definitely need more and more SLEEP.

Crapping & Crapping

I have nothing to write tonight but I will try my best to write some crap here to deliver the demand to my readers. But Definitely all is CRAPPING, CRAPPING and CRAPPING ...

Well, so many argument happen just a moment ago, what argument? Actually regarding our presentation that going on tomorrow, oops, not tomorrow since now already 10 10 2009, therefore, it is around 13 hours from now.

The argument was regarding how longs should we have our presentation? some said 5 minutes, some said 3 minutes and worse 2 minutes also got people said, what is that? 2 minutes to do a presentation? what can we do with 2 minutes? If you guys or girls do prepared by testing yourself, "Pilot Testing", I guess you will said 5 minutes is so limited, that is what happening in mine situation. I feel that 5 minutes is not to long and I need to present as fast as I can in order to finish the presentation in-time or before 5 minutes, that is the most important requirement from the lecturer.

Somehow said that 5 minutes is too longs, I guess that is their perception, your should try to have a "Pre-Testing" before your said it is too long. Maybe those who said that, they only need to present few slides, maybe below 5 slide? whose know right? But, it's fine, everyone have their own style of presentation, therefore, only themselves know what best suit them, am I right?

Back to some crapping about myself, I have been eating the worst Chicken Rice for my dinner cum supper for the last two day, wtf, very lousy, I means the taste of the foods. But, I cannot complaint to the buyer or seller as I am not the one who went to the place to get the food, it was delivery service by one of my friends. So, I only can complaint to myself. Damm poor, I means myself, peoples were enjoying the life in University's but I am not, I am definitely suffering here, I want to get out from this place as soon as I can, but still need to wait till next year, hopefully nothing happen, I will get away from here in MAY.

That all for the crapping for tonight, If I got any news items to post, I will post it today, please be patient, I will post about "Shabu Shabu in Kuching" if I get to the place tomorrow, means later, at 1900 Malaysian Time.

Preparing 4 Presentation

What am I doing for the whole day, oops, not the whole day la, I guess few hours only, I was preparing for my presentation for my International Marketing that will be around 15 hours from now, that means tomorrow, and I already feel the stress, as I was looking for the best equipment to deal with it, what is the best equipment to deal with it?

Well, first and foremost, I need a best attire for myself whereby that will be the first impression for the lecturer as well as the audiences that attending the presentation session tomorrow. Next, I need a pair of shoe that I feel comfortable, as I did not bring any formal shoe to Unimas, therefore, I was in a doubt till a moment ago, whereby I was borrowing it from a friends, William, my request is granted and I am getting half of the confident in myself. Last but not least, of course, I need to do more and more preparation whereby I will be in the as fluently as I can tomorrow during the presentation and I keep practicing since we are limits to 5 minutes per person, therefore, I need to re-edit my presentation slide and keep practicing until myself was satisfied with my own performance. I need CONFIDENT in myself.

Therefore, Practice make Perfect, Practice, Practice, and Practice, We should take the opportunity to practice as many times as we can.

Class Ended

Well, yesterday is the last class one of my courses for this semester, whereby our Web Design classes come to the end, but we still need to attending a Lab Replacement on Saturday morning. I am glad that most of my classes is ended, my tutorial session is over, my International Marketing is about to end as well, Marketing Research will be one more class this coming Monday, and all will be over by the following weeks.

So, what next? Revision Week will be the next, and I will definitely enjoy my revision weeks as I will spent the one week in Kuala Lumpur, glad to do that, I missed a lot of trips this semester due to unexpected situation that occur on me, what I can said, finally, I will be relaxing myself better compare to the situation here. I am waiting for the days to arrive, 15 days to go, and most of the works has been done, except one of it, we haven't start it yet, anyways, should not worry much on it, because I have two well educated boss in the groups, surely be able to be one of the best groups for projects, I hope so, as I does not want to be a repeater for this subject.

What I doing today? Well, I only get in bed around 9 am in the morning, spending most of my time in front of the laptop, do what? either editing my final year project, preparing my coming presentation as well as watching TVB Drama of course, nowadays I sleeping habit totally have a dramatic chances, sleep during morning or evening and stay awake for the whole night till the next morning, I also don't know why I am doing that kind of things.

Now, still waiting for my boss to stay awake, need to get my dinner set from him, since he was sleeping now, so I don't want to disturb him, I am sure that he is in damm tired mode, since during the afternoon class that we attend yesterday, he was sleep during the class, what to do? Busy guys starting this semester, lot's of works for him to settled, no one but two I guess. hahaa, Anyways, no worries for him, since he was a brilliant student's, but only think he should do, change at least a bit of his attitude, that I am sure, he will become a better person, my perception only, want to change or not is not my problems. A word of advice only.

University Ranking, Where do Unimas Stand?

Where is University Malaysia Sarawak? I am not sure, not listed here.

PETALING JAYA: Universiti Malaya (UM) has put Malaysia back in the top 200 of the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) – QS World University Rankings 2009 when it climbed 50 places from last year to 180 this year. QS managing director Nunzio Quacquarelli said the rankings identified not just the most highly-ranked universities in the world, but also the best performing universities in key subject areas, the universities most targeted by employers, those producing the best research, those investing in teaching and those with the most international profile.

Another local university that improved in rankings was Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), standing at 320 compared to 356 last year. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) dropped between one and 41 places to 291, 314 and 345 respectively. QS Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd Intelligence Unit head Ben Sowter said UM’s resurgence into the top 200 was clearly impressive. “The apparent collective effort at the university to attract a greater proportion of international students suggests a progressive outlook,” he said in an e-mail interview. Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin told The Star that the ministry knew the universities’ weaknesses were in citations per faculty and peer review.

Harvard University tops the rankings once again; followed by Cambridge, Yale, University College London, Imperial College, Oxford University, Chicago University, Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and California Institute of Technology. The highest ranked Asian institutions in the rankings are Tokyo University (22), Hong Kong University (24), Kyoto University (25) and National University of Singapore (30).

UM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Ghauth Jasmon said the success would be a major boost to the morale and motivation of all staff and students to work harder. “The redefinition of key performance indicators for the academics and the new initiatives implemented in international networking, recruitment of international staff and students have produced a quick, positive impact,” he said. UTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Zaini Ujang said the improvement in the university’s rankings is a result of its strategy in networking, quality, strategic research, synergy and organisational culture. On UKM’s drop from 250 to 291, its deputy vice-chancellor (Academic and International Affairs) Prof Dr Hassan Basri said the university was not surprised by the drop as THE-QS had indicated that the methodological adjustments and survey dynamics would significantly contribute to a drop in the scores for the academic peer review and employer survey criteria over a three-year period starting in the year 2008. UPM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Nik Mustapha R. Abdullah said he was surprised that the university’s rankings dropped as its achievements were better last year compared to previously.

Unexpected Interview Session

Yesterday morning, just a moment after I went to sleep, I was shock by somebody, not to mention who is the person, receiving a call from him, saying that, we will be having an interview session at 9.00am in the morning, without any preparation at all. wtf, at least if he tell me a day before or few day before I won't be shock at all, but, I was told 1 hour before the interview session, so, what do you expect from me? Are you sure if I going there to do interview, you can expect me to deliver any VALUE? I am damm sure, "Habuk Pun X Ada", because I was totally unprepared and I was in "stage 2" as well.

Therefore, when I was receiving the call from the boss, I totally not in the mood to reply or answering the call, but he keep calling me, making me frustrated, and I have to answer the call, whereby I was totally blur that period, INTERVIEW? omg--> 9.00am, without any further comment, I ignore him and straight away continue my sleep. A moment later, Sam, sms me as well, and I reply him by giving him a "No", a harsh decision? I admit it, but even I go, I guess I will be the most stupid person, so, no comment on it, but, I am not sure how the interview going on, anyways, I do saw some comment stated that the interview was "Kaw Tim". So, would we able to start the Strategic Management F&B Assignments? I really hope so, since we are running out of time, 17 Days to go before deadline, 26 October 2009.

I feel bad, but it was totally wrong timing anyways, I am not sure whether that was the idea of the boss or my boss whatever la, to have the Interviews session today, but without any noticed to inform us, "think twice", does a boss will inform you damm rush to have a interview in 1 hours? I really admit it, "IMPOSSIBLE" but it is possible if you guys or girls have a boss like mine !!!

Sabah on "Orange" Alert

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah was put on Orange alert as tropical storm Parma, lurking over the Philippines, triggered heavy rains and strong winds in the east Malaysian state.

Many low-lying areas in the west coast of Sabah were flooded by overnight rains, with meteorologists anticipating inclement weather to continue till Wednesday night, while strong winds are expected to last till Sunday. Several key roads including Tuaran Road, the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park road and the low-lying areas of Menggatal, Inanam, Telipok as well as several kampungs (villages) in neighbouring Tuaran, Penampang and Papar districts were flooded.Power and telecommunications systems were lightly disrupted by the inclement weather, but there were no reports of any casualties or serious incidents.

Sabah Meteorological Department director Abdul Malik Tussin said that the state was put under Orange alert because of moderate and occasionally heavy rain that could cause flooding in low-lying areas and overflowing riverbanks due to the existing tropical storm Parma over northern Philippines. He said winds peaking at 78kph hit the state’s west coast at 6am Wednesday and 25.2mm of rain was recorded within one hour at 7am. “We measured 80mm of rainfall in the 24-hour period that ended at 8am Wednesday,” he said, adding that this was not considered very high rainfall.

On Sept 27, more than 60 houses were damaged in the west coast of Sabah and Labuan by strong winds triggered by the tail of Typhoon Ketsana that killed over 300 people in the Philippines.

Recently, not in a very good condition, stress? tension? or else? happy as well as sad, but one thing that is definitely true, not getting to the healthy lifestyle. Why? This is because, if you guys or girl notice, I usually blog during wee morning after past midnight, for the past two day, I was on bed very early, around 6pm and 7pm in the evening and I will definitely get up by now, or later around 3am or 4am. Well, I guess myself have a habits of studying early in the morning if there is no noise that affect my concentration, and recently, there was no NOISE at all for the others party that usually making noise at night, not to mention who they are, because it is "sensitive", others peoples might feel it as well, if they come across my blog, like what happened last week, not to mention it again. Do not want to cause anymore miss-understanding.

So, now what am I doing? I just awake and have my dinner + supper with quite good meals actually, I got KFC and breads that I get it before I went back to my hostel. Why KFC again, as you know yesterday is Tuesday, and there will be offer/ discount for us, the buyer who has the Privilege Card. Actually, once a week, few of us will get the meals as dinner and this will last till the semester end. I was actually enjoying my meals just now, it really taste good, since I was in a hungry mood now, I has been skipping the lunch as well, because myself and few of my friends was having discussion about the presentation that we need to present on the coming Saturday, it worth 5 marks for our total carry mark for the subject, but one thing is sure, the marks is not easy to gained, why? In my perception, this semester, Dr. R is hardly to pleased, if you see the results for our mid-term, almost entire class failed the subject, including me as well. So, I don't pay a high hope on it, just I does not want the 2nd choice by adding the 5 marks to our Final Examination, as I know it would be easy this time around.

One of the MOST thing I notice about myself nowadays was I becoming more lazy to exercise, why I said so? It seem the last last time, I went to exercise cum jogging or training was back on August, and now it is already October, so, if you do calculation, it has been a long long time I am not back to the activity. How? In fact, I am getting fat, I guess so, even though others said I am still skinny, but I am actually fat because I feel it, I know it, and I know myself is short off stamina as well, two days back, I was walking to the nearest stall nearby my campus to get some printing services, around 20 minutes walking, just walking man, and I can feel the pain in my legs, omg, I would not feel it last time even though I was running for almost half an hour or more, but now I feel it, I knew the condition was not good (BAD) for me, I guess I need to start my exercise training as soon as possible to cure the problem that occur on me.

So, now, I guess it would the be best time for me to settled some of the works that need to be hand off in the nearest time, such as editing for my Final Year Project, Preparation for my Presentation, etc. Now, would be the best time that suit for me, why? I can concentrate well during early morning, fully utilize the coming 2 hours, then have a break, and I will either continue with others works, or I get into bed, if I can do it, or I will be watching my favor TVB Drama.

I guess so, but one thing I noticed, my friends is in a very busy mode, why? Only he knew it. who? siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas.

Unnatural Life Style

What is going wrong with my lifestyle here? I have been having unnatural healthy life style man. As per yesterday, I was even in my bed as soon as 6pm in the evening and I skip my dinner as well, whereby now I feel it, damm hungry now, since at 3.45am now, I was awake. So, what should I do now? continued my sleep? or else? I guess I should cook Maggi Mi as my dinner cum supper.

Why do I end up with sleeping damm so early in the evening? Well, actually I was not in the bed for the previous day whereby I skip my sleep or we call it "fasting" a Malay term, and I stay awake for the entire night till the next day, because I cannot sleep as early as in 6-7am in the morning, therefore, I chose not to sleep because I was having a lecture in Monday morning.

Nothing much happen on yesterday during lecture, I manage to control myself not to get asleep during the lecturer class and I did it. It is a good experience, I guess my others Friends had try it b4, whereby, if they need to submit the assignments on the next day, the day b4 sure no sleep. Am I right? Once a while it is ok, but we should not do it often, because it is not good for our health.

On the good side, I manage to meet my "Final Year Project" supervisor's, whereby I went as ? early as 9.30am in the morning but I only manage to meet her as early as 2.45pm in the noon, why? either she is entertaining others students or she was not at her room during that time. But, I was glad that most of the work I done, is on the right track and just need a bit more editing and I was requested to do a "Pilot Test" on my questionnaires, anyone willing to be my respondents? But, my respondents should be only for those peoples that are currently using Digi Services because I was doing a research on their "Customer Service Center". Therefore, I will need to get the respondents perception on the "Service Quality" or others term, "Quality of the Services" that provided by them.

Well, I guess I would like to apologies to others READERS that eventually get into my BLOGS and had a chances to read some of my posting. I admit that my posting is a bit sensitive and I know that you guys or girls especially those who getting a chances to read my posting will feel annoying or angry. Therefore, I would like to said "I am Sorry" for those who is "TERASA" with the wording I used, Sarawakian.(but of course you should know you are not the ONE I mentioning) Maybe you all are too sensitive, but anyways it was my fault, I admit it. APA 5th Edition?

Before I further my explanation on APA 5th Edition, what is that actually? Well, I really does not have the mood to start off the day with doing this BLOODY APA 5th Edition Referencing Styles.
What is that for? Actually, it is the styles of REFERENCING that we need to do for our Assignments as well as our MOST IMPORTANT ITEM, Final Year Project. Since I was already "Bungkus" (finish) all the chapters, well, it's time for referencing. It's very important to do the correct ways of referencing because it consists of 15 Marks from the total of our Final Year Project, therefore if you can get it correct, well 15 Marks is free for us !!!

But what I do for the whole day was sleeping since it was a coldly day, raining till now at 2am in the morning. As I was waking up late, I start my day with Dinner, why? I skip my breakfast and lunch, as I only wake up damm late, not to mention too much of my secret, hahaha. Well, as soon as I was awake, I immediately ON my Laptop, what I do? Referencing? forget about that, I was enjoying watching a new TVB Drama, what is that? 蔡锷与小凤仙, from Episode 1-5. Damm interesting Drama.

Until now, I still watching Drama, but not the one mention above, since I only have Episode from 1-5, what to do? My supplier haven't give me the next Episode. Anyways, I still have a lot of Drama collections, so I was watching, 小孩不笨2, a Singaporean Movies, very funny with the acting and story of the Kid. I enjoying it, but now back to the REFERENCING, I also Dunno whether what I have write in the Microsoft Words, is correct or wrong, but still doing it since what I saw from the previous "seniors", about the same, but their one is of course better from me, since I really blur on it. It's ok, still in the Learning Process, should be able to get it PERFECT in the nearest time.

Come to the END?

Well, finally I had done my Chapter 1, 2, 3 for the "Final Year Project" that need to be submitted on 23 October 2009 but I need to hand it early since we are allowed to Re-Edit in again if there any plus and minus items that needed in those three chapters.

Besides that, I had done my Questionnaires as well, whereby it consists of Section A, regarding Demographic of the respondents, and Section B, consists of 20 questions regarding Service Quality that provided by Digi Customer Service Center.

Therefore, almost everything is done but the only exception was, it haven't checked by my supervisor, Ms. Josephine, I will meet her on Monday or Tuesday, depend on either one day, due to certain reasons. should I tell you all?

I haven't print out the chapters and questionnaires as well (quite costly+ need to go Desa ILMU)
I would like to see her but there are always a probability she is not around (cuti)
Personal reason (Lazy)
etc.

Well, I guess I will be having a good rest now and tomorrow before I continue with another projects and assignments that we haven't start it at all. Which Assignment? You know I know la.... Dr. K's assignment regarding F & B. My group leader, Mr. A seem to be very busy with others sort of works + activities and he have not give us command to start the assignment, Deadline --> 26 October 2009. Oh no, really getting worry about it.

Besides that, there was also Discussion Part 6 (Proton again,) from Dr.K which we need to presents it on Tuesday? Should I have a look on it? hahaha....I guess we should hantam only... no worry la, Dr. K would not pay much attention on us, he will be attracted to the centre of the class whereby, there will be 3 beautiful (Leng Lui), actually Malay Girl but always get into Dr. K attention, hahahaa.. should thanks them, because every-time they will be the one who do presentation at the front of the class, Whatever la, not my main problem, I just don't want to get into attraction and requested to do the presentation !!!

3rd Day in October

Nothing much happening today, but what I did for the entire day, I was sleeping more than doing works, wtf, I sleep till 4.00pm in the evening whereby I was on bed at 6.40am in the morning and I was skipping my breakfast and lunch as well (Quite Saving). When I was awake, the first time I did was ON my LAPTOP, because I was a bit KIASU, scared of cannot getting the public wireless connection, then I boil some hot water whereby I start my day with a cup of coffee, that is a must !!!

After that, I went to check my mails, especially the my blogs, reading news that happen around and end it with a One and a Half hour movie which is about Gangster! After that, I message my friend, Sam, regarding whether he is going out from Unimas to get foods or not since nowadays if Sam did not drive the car for one day, he will feel uneasy man, hahaha.

Unfortunately,

He told me that, he was booked by someone, oops, not for one night stand ok (Don't Think Negatively), but he was booked for something else, whereby he told me that, there was a BIG patient that wanted to meet "Tabib Cina" for the second times in less than 2 weeks, if I am not mistaken, for her follow up treatment regarding her legs that swollen due to Black Cat (kitten). Whatever la, that not important, I want to get my Dinner, whereby it's not from Unimas, so I decided to asked Sam to SMS me where he is going to have his Dinner and Dapau back for me.

Then, I received his SMS regarding that he is having his Dinner in Jalan Song, "Song Kai" again, for the second times in two day, so I was asking him to get me a Chicken Rice but not the same I have yesterday, and Fried Hot Dog, which I want to try the taste from another stall, but sadly, the stall was not operating today, therefore, I requested him to get me either Hot Dog from another stall or Pork Roll from the stall we ate yesterday, since you all does not have a chance to see what is that, I will show it today !!!

Quite full actually, since I taken a pack of Mee Sedap around 8pm since I was told that I will receive my foods before 10pm, but miracle happen, wtf, Sam delivering the foods for me exactly at 9.30pm, but I decided to keep it till now before I eat it since I was full just now. The taste of the foods is better compare to yesterday especially the Chicken Rice.

Lastly, before I forget, it was Moon Cake Festivals, so I decided to wish all my readers, Happy Moon Cake Festival, do enjoy yourself even you all are far from your Family, next year I will definitely celebrates it with my love one as well as my family instead of this year since I was still in Sarawak.

Sound a good news? I don't think so, at last we still need to do another assignments or projects as well, since all the web sites in Unimas is under maintained (down). What to do? Unimas is so RICH, outsourcing their web sites to others private company, I guess so, do correct me if I am wrong !!!

Still, we need to wait and see, most probably next week will be posting from Tuan Haji Syahrul Nizam, regarding whatever we need to do !!!

2nd Day in October-->Must Read !!!

Well, nothing much happening in the first day of October but a funny things that I got was from one my friends, Ms. TSL, whereby as you know, I was making a posting in a Facebook regarding one of my housemates that making plenty ears polluting at wee in the morning at late as 3am in the morning. wtf, if you know what I mean, you all should get the understanding. Do you know what happen during the reply I get in the Facebook, if you all know, I am sure you all will be laughing till cry.

Ms. TSL, told me that one of his friend, not to mention the name, already help me to scold the person that making ears pollution early in the morning, but Ms. TSL don't know that the person I complaining is the person who tell Ms. TSL that he help to scold the person already, actually he is scolding me, wtf, I making complaint about it and I was the one who get scold, whereby the guys was the one who playing Loud Music+WOOFER during that time, really annoying since what this guys write was all the dirty word voicing his dissatisfaction on me, wtf. Therefore, I already tell myself, not need to care bout the peoples that live in my apartments, especially the guys who said something bad on me, I think I should tell myself, "I could not see you all" even I see them in the house, but I will pretend I cannot see them, no need to said "hi" as well.

Besides that, last night, myself and my friends went to Jalan Song better known as "Song Kai" to have our dinner whereby it's really FULL and Excited, I am so damm full because we orders many food for our-self as well as sharing among each others. I get myself a chicken rice as the stall that I want to make order were closed, so I decided order others food to eat and I chose Chicken Rice, but this rice was "no rasa" at all since it's white rice and not a oil rice whereby it's has fragrance smell on it. wtf, I was cheated man, anyways it's ok la, it's does not cost me much, then I order a "Mami Cha Kuey" whereby the taste is good, according to Mr. S, it taste as good as Kuala Lumpur, and Lastly I also ordered a Pork Roll (Best item tonight) something similar to Spring Roll, and it's really good and tasty. A part from that, my friends also orders others types of foods as well, and we really have fun and enjoyable dinner there.

Do you all want to know the MOST FUNNIEST things that happen tonight? hahahaa, wtf, one of my friends, Mr. J accidentally went and sit at a wrong tables whereby he mistakenly percepts that that was the tables we sit. wtf, he even look at the drink that he order, whereby the drink he order was Barley but when he went to the wrong tables, the drink was in Green Color, So, he look like "lain macam", and steer the drink as well, the person in front of him was a girl, looking at him "one kind" hahahahaa, luckily I manage to called him, and he come back to our table, hahahaha, wtf, I guess he too pressure + tension with the assignments and FYP that he need to do, anyways, during that moment, myself and another friends laugh till almost want to cry, so damm funny, before we went off, I even ask Mr. J whether he want to take another route to get to the car park because it seem very "Pai Seh" if we walk through the table that Mr. J wrongly seated. hahaha, luckily the table is both female, if the girl came with her bf, I don't know what will happen.

Anyways, good experiences for us, it tell us that "FOCUS" and "PAYING 100% ATTENTION" is very important!

1st Day in October

Well, this will be the 1st posting for the month of October and not a very good month for all of us since assignments, final year projects, revision for final examination, etc needed to be done in this one month. Well, I not hoping the time would be longer, but what can said "Just Do the Best" beat the time and it definitely will be a SUCCESS.

Well, really feel need to be concentrate on the works I doing now, but very unlucky because of the IDIOT + ANNOYING housemates that I have, whenever I really wanted to FOCUS on my works, that will be making some troubles, such as LOUD MUSIC+WOOFER, Unhygienic Behavior, and so on on on, really feel wanted to KILL them if I can, but eventually I can't. wtf, why I thinking like that? Maybe it already over the limits for what they have done to me, should I make a complaints or police reports? ha ha ha ..... no use la, because the GUYS staying at my apartment, should I describes them? no need la.... no values at all. not even 1% of VALUES,

Whatever, I don't care much, keep focusing on the MOST Difficult PART which is the CHAPTER 2 of my Final Year Project, it make me THINK, THINK and THINK again, again, and again. I put so much effort on it, but I don't know how the OUTCOMES will be? Next week I will probably get the outcomes since I will be submitting it to Ms. Josephine if she is around on Monday or Tuesday, depends whether I can "Gau Dim" it or not ... because you know la, I am LAZY as Well !!!

After receive a good news on the day regarding scoring well in Strategic Management, I was happy but it seem won't last long as what I get to know from Lau, a Master's Students in Unimas, he suddenly poke me via the Facebook and ask me whether I want to know my current marks for Marketing Research.

It really disappointing, at 4.40am I receiving the news about my current marks for Marketing Research from the total, it really not helping at all, the person I means is not Lau, another person, 27/40-->a part from the total carry mark what he give me for my Assignment 2 + Case Study + Presentation. It seem let me down and how do I face with the Final's Examination? at least give la 30++, so that it would be better chances for me to get a good results.

Now I really cannot imagine it, I don't dare to predict what I will get from MY FINAL which consists of 30 Marks, and even tough the Tips is given to us by Ernest, but it seem I cannot run away from getting a better results this time around since I only able to get a so so results last semester from his course. I got a feeling that, it would not be a good one again. sigh....

A sukang or ‘durian hutan’ tree heavy with fruits during its fruiting season.

Once opened, the red flesh of the sukang is revealed.

KOTA KINABALU: A durian species is turning heads among visitors to Sabah, thanks to its uniquely reddish flesh.

Known among the Kadazandusun community as sukang or tabelak, the fruit is also called “durian hutan”, as it is mainly found growing wild in the jungles of Sabah.

Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjum said he did not know anyone cultivating sukang (its scientific name is Durio gravolens) as there was generally not much enthusiasm among locals for wild durian.

Its flesh is said to be thinner and drier compared with the cultivated fruit which is of thicker and creamier texture.

The taste is about similar with other durians, although some have described it as sweetish sour.

Masidi said the sukang’s main attraction is its red-coloured flesh.

“That’s the main thing that makes it stand out,” he said, adding that this type of durian also fetched a lower price than the more common fruit.

The small-sized fruits, some about the size of a sepak takraw ball, are sold for as little as RM2 to RM3 when they are in season.

Masidi, who grew up in interior Ranau where sukang are plentiful, said some people who had tasted the fruit for the first time claimed that it had a more potent “kick”.

“Maybe it’s because this particular type of durian is generally more pungent,” he added. Others who have tasted sukang describe it having a carrot-like flavour.

Those who love that crunch in their donuts would go nuts with the Mumble Jumble (pumpkin, melon and sunflower seeds), Donutella (roasted peanuts), White Cashew (cashew nuts) and Open Sesame (black and white sesame seeds) donuts.

Three of the new flavours have cereal in them, namely the Ponie Express (dark chocolate, wheat bran, oat and raisins), Agent ‘O’ (white chocolate and Nestum) and Rocky Road (Tiramisu chocolate, coco pops and yellow raisin).

Besides the 31 flavours, the six top flavours of 2008 were retained — Chocoholic, Say Cheese, Pink Twister, Duren Duren, The Alien and Californian Almond.

The classic Glacier and Semi-glacier donuts were also preserved for die-hard fans.

“Loyal fans of our previous flavours would still be able to get them as we would be rotating the flavours every six months,” said Teng.

The donuts are sold at RM2.30 per piece, RM12.50 for a box of six and RM23 for a box of 12.

Fans can even vote for their favourite flavour online at www.bigappledonuts.com for the ultimate donut which would be crowned Lord of the Rings.

Teng said they would be launching a Caramelicious selection of donuts in October.

“Customers can get a box of six donuts for RM12.50, and each one has caramel in it,” said Teng.

1st Day after Holiday

Today will be the 1st day after the Raya Holiday and heading back for the BUSY month I guess for most of the students in UNIMAS, as well as others IPTA institutions.

--> The Classes is starting again, and there will be few more classes before we reach the CLIMATE whereby, assignments, projects and Final Year Project need to be handed on OCTOBER, most probably 3rd weeks.

Again, this will be one of the main factors that causes of TENSION, STRESS, EXCITED and etc among the students, including me. Why? There are many reasons.

For example, now? I think this is the 1st time I waking up so damm early in the morning, I also dunno why.... as I cannot sleep well last night. I only get in myself into bed at 2am, but around 4.45am I already awake and I cannot sleep back. why? I guess I was too excited to attending the 1st lecture after the holiday or I was too stress + tension, whereby more works, assignments and projects need to be submit, as the dateline is around the corner...

Another reason would be maybe I lost control in myself, whereby during the early morning, it is my sleep time for the last 1 weeks since there was a holiday, I guess myself was addicted to it, that why I cannot sleep well yesterday when I try to push myself to get into bed early.

Too BAD, I guess I will be in Zombie Stage during the lecture later on, since I will have two classes in the first day after raya, I hope there will be no quizzes or long lecturing for me today.

KUALA LUMPUR: The 1Malaysia Lantern Festival will be made an annual event and promoted as one of the country’s tourism products, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said that by organizing this event, “we do not only accept the diversity of our multi-racial society but also celebrate the uniqueness of Malaysia.”

Speaking at the 1Malaysia Lantern Festival held at Central Market here last night, he said the event was in line with the 1Malaysia concept and expressed hope it would be seen as another brick built upon national unity towards the concept.

Najib also announced an annual allocation of RM250,000 to more than 100 Chinese non-governmental organizations which took part in the Lantern Festival.

He said such a cultural event was a heritage the country could boast to foreign visitors.

“There are so much Malaysia can offer to the world - its tradition, culture, customs, cuisine, its natural beauty and warm hospitality.

“We are the window to the rest of Asia and we have to be famous not just for our shopping, eco-tourism but for our unique way of life as well,” he said.

Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said the allocation announced by Najib would be made available by Tourism Malaysia to promote the Lantern Festival event in Kuala Lumpur for the next four years.

“We managed to attract more than 30,000 tourists to this year’s event and we hope that 100,000 tourists will be visiting our country each year specially for this event. The Lantern festival is a great event as it has the participatory factor which the tourists enjoy and will pull the crowd in,” she said.

After his speech, Najib cut a giant 1Malaysia mooncake which weighed 80kg.

He and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor joined in the latern procession, walking to the iconic Petaling Street carrying a lantern each.

Earlier, a giant lantern several metres high in the form of the 1Malaysia logo was lit by Dr Ng, accompanied by drum beats representing the various races.

The festival was organised by the Tourism Ministry with the co-operation of Kuala Lumpur City Hall and 100 non-governmental organizations.

UALA LUMPUR: A couple stood out among the thousands that flocked to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s open house yesterday — they were dressed in their wedding gown and suit.

Marketing manager Ng Vin Ping, 37, who just picked up his bride Chong Pei Nee, 27, on their wedding day, decided to drop by the former prime minister’s residence in Seri Kembangan yesterday.

Ng had flown home from Shanghai to marry Chong and the couple was due to hold their wedding dinner at the Palace of the Golden Horses.

“The hotel staff informed us about Tun’s open house and we decided to take the opportunity to meet him, as he is my idol. As a Malaysian, I admire him a lot and I wish him a long life,” Ng said.

The couple stood in line with the crowd in the sweltering heat for half an hour before they had the opportunity to meet Dr Mahathir and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.

Dr Mahathir, dressed in a lilac baju Melayu, and his wife, in a light blue baju kurung with a flower motif, shook the couple’s hands and posed for pictures with them.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor also paid a visit at about 11.50am.

The Prime Minister and former prime minister were happily chatting at their table as they savoured rendang, satay and char koay teow.

Among those who also turned up for the open house was first-time visitor Jit Singh, 60, who brought his family to meet Dr Mahathir.

“I used to read about him in the papers and it was an exciting encounter indeed when I met him for the first time.”

Also present was the National Bank of Pakistan Senior Executive Vice-President Dr Mirza Abrar Baig, who said the open house by Dr Mahathir showed that he was a sincere statesman.

Dr Mirza added that there was an open atmosphere for leaders and the people to come together, something that “cannot be done in Pakistan” due to the political environment there.

Also present were Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen, Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. even if his driver is 1,000km away
because he can see every one of his drivers via his laptop.

Miri Transport Company managing director Yeo Yow Shun not only knows when and where his drivers had exceeded the speed limit, he also knows if they have been driving recklessly or if they have been sleeping on the job.

Yeo has installed a powerful Global Positioning System (GPS) on board his fleet of 17 express buses plying the Sarawak roads, enabling him to see his drivers and monitor their every movement 24 hours a day.

He can take punitive action within 24 hours if they are found to be reckless.

Miri Transport is the first in Sarawak, and perhaps in Borneo, to have installed GPS to prevent bus drivers from speeding and sleeping on the job.

Yeo demonstrated the technology at a hotel here yesterday. He showed how he can calculate their speed, their location, whether they are stationary or driving in a straight line.

“I can see them anytime I want. Anyone who speeds will be hauled up for disciplinary action immediately.

“Their speed is charted and jotted down every hour,” he said.

Yeo said the surveillance system was installed a month ago and it was costly.

“We spent a lot of money on this system. It is part of our company’s effort to ensure the safety of our passengers,” he said.

He also announced that his company’s stage buses, plying Miri City limits, will increase its fares by between 20 and 60 sen, following the Government’s recent decision to increase bus fares.

Nasi Kandar a Malaysian Original?

Battle gets spicier : The ‘food fight’ has apparently travelled up north with the Penang Indian-Muslim community now saying that the famous nasi kandar belongs to them. They are also upset that the dish and pasembur have not been duly recognised.

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Indian-Muslim community has expressed disappointment that nasi kandar and pasembur have not been included in the list of 100 types of heritage food and drinks on the National Heritage website (www.warisan.gov.my).

Restoran Kapitan chairman Abdul Wahab Mohamad Hanifah said nasi kandar is “definitely a Malaysian original” and should be promoted as such because their ancestors from India first dreamed it up in Penang in the 1900s.

“They worked at the nearby port and would concoct different curries with whatever ingredients they had.

“Nowhere else can you find nasi kandar that comes close to the Penang version because the water here is special – it is sweet.

“Even when my cooks bring all the ingredients to Kuala Lumpur and prepare the food there, the taste is slightly different,” he said, adding that the dish should be promoted as a “Malaysian original”.

Pelita Nasi Kandar chain director K.K. Sihabutheen said nasi kandar should be the number one item in any “original Malaysian food list”.

“Not only was the nasi kandar created here, but Penang nasi kandar is the most popular around,” he said.

Since the 1930s, nasi kandar has played a prominent role in the culinary history of Penang.

Its origins date back to the days of yore when Indian-Muslim immigrants roamed the port and dusty streets of colonial Penang, carrying containers laden with home-cooked dishes and rice slung on both ends of a kandar (a wooden stick).

Most people also believe that pasembur, or Indian rojak as it is known in some states, is another Malaysian original first served by the Indian-Muslim community here.

Gani Famous Pasembur owner Jamil Kader Gani, whose family had been making this dish for three generations, “guaranteed” that pasembur was born in the state.

“Nowhere else in the world will you find such variety and the gravy is also special because most pasembur sellers make their own gravy according to their family recipes.

“Pasembur arrived here around the same time as nasi kandar and should be promoted as wholly Malaysian,” he said.

Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen’s recent statement that nasi lemak, laksa, bak kut teh, chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice were Malaysian dishes has sparked off a “food fight” on the Internet, with some unhappy Singaporeans insisting that chilli crabs, Hainanese chicken rice, nasi lemak and bak kut teh were theirs.

Slow Down PLEASE, Cats and Dogs Crossing the Road !!!

Furry Friends Farm wants animal crossing signs put up:

IN Australia, it’s not uncommon to find kangaroo crossing signage along the roads.

At one time, roads in Puncak Alam, Shah Alam, even had signage alerting motorists to watch out for road-crossing tapirs!

In conjunction with World Animal Day on Oct 4, Furry Friends Farm founder Sabrina Yeap hopes that the local authorities will support her idea to promote animal welfare on the road and put up animal crossing signs.

It is an idea that is yet to be brought up with any of the local authorities but Yeap hopes that if the public agrees with her, this will nudge the authorities into taking action.

The push factor came to Yeap when Jasper the dog, a victim of a hit and run accident, was brought in by a group of contractors to Furry Friends Farm.

“He was injured with a ruptured skull showing part of his brain. When I went to see Jasper, in spite of the
unimaginable amount of pain he must have been in, Jasper still wagged his tail, as if in anticipation of some help,” said Yeap.

She said that from the countless number of accidents that involved dogs and cats, it's high time that signages saying, (Beware! Slow down! Cats and dogs crossing) are put up.

“It will not just save the lives of our feline and canine friends, but also the lives of people as hopefully, they will become more careful, considerate and compassionate drivers,” explained Yeap.

She also said that if the local authorities were agreeable with her idea, she would assist them by suggesting locations for placement of the signage.

“I am sure the public will also be supportive of this. Finding an injured or dead animal that had been knocked down by cars is a distressing experience for many. We’ve had plenty of calls from those who want to help but are unsure how to deal in removing the injured animals on the road. Many also are not aware of our animal rescue unit. Members of the public can assist us in identifying animal accident-prone areas in residential sites,” said Yeap.

“A few signage are enough. It will create an awareness among motorists to be more compassionate towards our road-using animal friends.”

Celebrate World Animal Day

WORLD Animal Day, which falls on Oct 4 every year, was started in Florence, Italy, in 1931 at a convention of ecologists.

On this day, special events are planned on locations all over the globe. Oct 4 was originally chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment.

Numerous churches throughout the world observe the Sunday closest to Oct 4 with a blessing for the animals.

However, World Animal Day has now gone beyond being the celebration of a Christian saint and is today observed by animal-lovers of all beliefs, nationalities and backgrounds.

Animal rescue shelters hold fund-raising events and open days, wildlife groups organise information displays, schools undertake animal-related project work and individuals and groups of friends or co-workers donate to animal charities or pledge to sponsor an shelter.

VIPs Blacklisted for Not Paying Study Loans

PETALING JAYA: They are known as Yang Berhormat and Yang Berbahagia (YBs) but now some of them have earned the not-so-pleasant status of Yang Berhutang (debtor).

These YBs (the prefix used for elected representatives and those who carry honorary titles like Datuk) are not the only public figures on the list of National Higher Education Fund Corporation loan defaulters.

Professionals and celebrities are also among the 26,000-odd people who owe a whopping RM400mil.

The corporation’s chief executive, Yunos Abd Ghani, said the defaulters included those who studied medicine, law and business.

He said the corporation had to resort to barring the defaulters from leaving the country because they had been ignoring repeated reminders to repay their loans for more than five years.

Of the 26,627 names submitted to the Immigration Department since the corporation started recommending the travel restriction in August last year, 4% or 1,018 had settled their loans amounting to more than RM20mil, he said.

“This (overseas travel ban) has been an effective method as they have no other alternative but to settle what they owe,” he told The Star.

“We don’t apply double standards in implementing the action,” he said, adding that borrowers could check if they were barred from travelling overseas via the corporation and Immigration Department websites.

When asked what excuses the borrowers gave for not settling their debts on completion of their studies, Yunos said they often claimed they did not receive the corporation’s notices.

“Change of address is a favourite excuse despite their legal obligation to update their latest addresses with the corporation,” he said.

Yunos said barring defaulters from going overseas was a last resort.

Since the corporation began operations in 1997, he said it had disbursed RM18bil in loans.

In general, Yunos said that 76% of borrowers start repaying their loans as soon as they finished their studies.

Celcom Network Failure caused by Heavy Traffic Volume

PETALING JAYA: Celcom’s disrupted phone lines nationwide were gradually restored some 10 hours after the interruptions occurred.

“The failure was mainly due to heavy call volume which had increased by five folds during Aidilfitri,” said Celcom chief executive officer Datuk Seri Shazalli Ramly.

Other services such as SMS, email, GPRS, mobile broadband, roaming, IDD, and calls to other networks and fixed lines were unaffected.

As a result, some of its major network nodes experienced sudden overloading, causing a loss of signal between the nodes located at Kepong and Perda, Seberang Perai.

A call to the mobile service provider’s careline yesterday morning revealed their phone lines had been down since morning.

A pre-recorded voice message informed subscribers that they would experience some “disruption in taking and making calls in some parts of peninsular Malaysia”.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” said the message.

A customer care consultant said there was a “network problem” affecting the whole country, including Sabah and Sarawak.

That is why "Celcom Boardband" is known as "Turtle Band" as well,

Hari Raya is Over?

I know that Hari Raya Holiday is over for the government and private sectors whereby most of them need to reporting back to their work since yesterday, but there was also many who take leave to continue the holiday. But what I know the Raya will last at least a month from the 1st day of Raya, "do correct me if I am wrong". As yesterday, I was on my ways to get our lunch in Xiang Xiang, we saw that our FEB Dean, Prof Shazali, was on his ways to lunch as well, I guess so, Prof. has gone back to work on the 4th day of raya? It really early, that my perception. If I am on the holiday, I guess most of my friends will know what I you do, hahaha, I will definitely take two or three day early from the holiday and will be back after at least 1 weeks after the holiday, whereby this had causes me an A in my last semester courses since I missed a 5% Quiz that given by the lecturer, oklah, I don't to sell his name here.

Back to the topic, why I said the Raya is over? emmm, if you guys visited my Facebook a moment ago, I guess you all should know why I want to share this topic. As you know, for the last 1 weeks, I has been enjoying my life at the most satisfy ways, whereby I was alone at my apartment, whereas all my housemates, including the Chinese gengs has gone home for the break. I really enjoying it because there is no Loud Music+Woofer that always happen in the apartment, BUT I guess the Nightmare will start again since the FELLA is Back !!! What the Hell, got raya, just go raya la.... why this FELLA, coming back as early as today, and I know I will be getting some unnecessary Disturb from what he usually DiD.

At early as 11am in the morning, I heard that somebody was opening the Door outside my ROOM, during that time I guess it should be the office staffs that coming for security checking, but it wasn't. It was the person who stay next to my room, he is back? OMG--> he is a Malays from Sabah, and I dunno why he is back here so DAMM early. As soon as he settled his stuff, that WAS it. I know I won't be having a good REST, since I was only on bed early in the morning. The Music is Started, at first it was slow, then becoming more LOUD and LOUDER with all the Malays Hits, WTF, my sleep is gone at the moment. I put the extra pillow that I have in my whole face, pretending I could not heard the MUSIC, but it fail. Then, Sam calling me to go for Lunch, but I tell him I need to get rest so, I FFK him, really sorry SAM, my NIGHTMARE is Back !!!

Countdown + Fogging

Well, as I was in a Damm boring mode, since I have to think about the works given by my Project Manager (Don't play play) an international marketing company namely International Sport, I guess I need to take a break since I was out of idea now.

It is a normal routine for us as a students, whereby lots (tans) of workload is given to us, and we need to accomplish it in a given time, I hope by next month all the Mission is Accomplish since starting today I will remember by telling myself that it will be one month to go before I get off from this devil place and heading home to Kuala Lumpur, even though it was not a long break, at least I guess I need a break outsides this place.

I Miss KL a lot, it has been 3 month since I came here,

Well, at the moment, what I hate the most is not the workload or assignment, but the Mosquito that inside my room which has disturbing my concentration. WTH , why nowadays there is so many MOSQUITO in UNIMAS, especially in Cempaka, when is the FOGGING company that assign to do fogging activities in the areas in Unimas will be coming again, as I was still remember they came here only once on this semester, I damm in need for your service now,

PUTRAJAYA: By the year 2011, prospective students can check on the standing of private universities and university-colleges before enrolling.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said it would be compulsory for all institutions of higher education to participate in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (Setara) programme next year.

“When I say next year, it means the results will be out the year after,” he said.

He added that some institutions were already voluntarily taking part in the programme this year and the results would be out next year.

“Courses should be under the framework of our Malaysian Qualification Agency, so that the courses offered are really of quality.

“If their courses are not under the framework by next year, they will not be allowed to take in foreign students,” he said, adding that the institutions have been reminded to only allow qualified students to be enrolled.

He added that if their students were not up to mark, this would have an effect on their Setara index and affect the university’s reputation.

Khaled said he was going to take a “total re-look” at institutions of higher education “to make sure that when we transform our public universities, they are not far behind.”

He said the Setara index would be used as a guide by students before enrolling in a particular university.

“We’ve no choice but to concentrate on quality. We want Malaysia to be a hub of higher education. We want first-class mentality students,” he said.

KFC again !!!

Why I mentioning that KFC again? I guess you all should know by now, as I has been visiting KFC Kota Samarahan almost once a week with my Driver cum Friends of course, since I have this Bloody Discount Card. What Discount is that? I guess most of the West Malaysia People should know it, but I am not sure about Sarawakian, since the PURCHASING POWER is DAMM POWER (High), why? Because Sarawakian People is Damm Rich, they will simply buys whatever they perceive it as Quality, as being show by one my Friends, "siapa makan cili dia rasa PEDAS" whenever we went to Taka Cake House, he will definitely get an EXPENSIVE breads, but of course not myself or Sam, we only manage to get us RM2.00 buns Kosong or Hot Dog Buns which cost us RM1.50.

What I mean by the Bloody Discount Card? I still remember, those day I still in KL, as usual, I will get myself and my Godfather with a Dinner Plates every Tuesday, so I did the same here, in Kota Samarahan Sarawak. How I get this Discount Card, I guess now no more, but I manage to get many of this Discount Card last time as I either get myself a X-Meal in any KFC outlets, or by relationship management with this cashiers since I was a Loyalty customers to them, will be visiting them once a weeks, which most of the time will be at KL SENTRAL KFC outlets.

This is the V.V.I.P Discount Cards,
which remind me to get myself KFC every Tuesday.
Why? Because of the Value,
what Value? 25% Discount of course.
If not, I guess I won't be having KFC so frequently.

But today, my mood to have KFC almost being SPOIL by a cashier, whereby I can describe her as Kekurangan Pengetahuan or syok sendiri. Why? Because of her attitude or knowledge as being a cashier in KFC Kota Samarahan, I don't how long la, but I only met her for the last 1 month I guess if I am not mistaken. She told me that, my V.V.I.P Discount Card cannot be use since it was already expired, of course I feel weird, because I only having KFC last week as well, almost every Tuesday. So, this cashier, a lady cashier to be specific, really spoil my mood to have KFC today, because No Discount equal to No Value.

So, myself, Sam, and Allen really not in a good mood to have KFC since the V.V.I.P card can't be used. As Sam was in a phone, seem very busy contacting her clients who requested for KFC as well, I told him that I definitely won't have the KFC, if not Discount. But he told me that, he still need to buy because her Orang Kaya Kaya punya Clients still want to have it, so, as the waiting line for our orders was too long, I suggested him to go Taka Cake House first b4 we came back again to get the KFC for his Kaya Kaya punya Clients. Who is the clients? "siapa makan cili dia rasa PEDAS"

After buying the breads from Taka Cake House, we went back to KFC Kota Samarahan, and as Sam and Allen was lining up to make orders, I saw one of my KL lang, Mr. Seh Wei Ping, who is making payment for his order, of course in the main time I saw somethings else, that is the V.V.I.P Discount Card. I even ask him, "KL Lang, this V.V.I.P cards can be used meh?" He tell me YES, so, I even ask the KFC Kota Samarahan Supervisor, a ladies in her 30+, to confirm whether the V.V.I.P Discount Card can be use or not. After confirming that the V.V.I.P Discount Card can be use, I decided to line up in another counter as I don't want to see the "Kekurangan Pengetahuan" cashier who told me at 1st, the V.V.I.P Discount Card cannot be used.

Well, as Sam told me that we are not going out tonight to Dapau Dinner, I decided to orders an extra meal for myself since nothing (foods) can be get at Unimas.

I get myself a Zinger Burger, cost me around RM6

The Quality, so so lar, as my mood had been spoit by
the Bloody Cashier (Perempuan) .

A part from that, I also get myself and Mr. Gan a Dinner Plate,
as Mr. Gan did something to me which I really feel weird,
terpaksa la, I ganti rugi him balik.

This is what I get for myself, but the quality is sooooo BAD,
see the chicken also feel no mood already,
One Different Kind lol,
when I eat it just now, very weird the taste of the Chicken,
maybe due to Raya punya Pasal.
Kekurangan Ayam=Ayam yang Tidak Segar.
RM7.80 Net, after Discount.

How you guys feel about the QUALITY of the Chicken today?
The Question is towards Sam, Allen, and the Orang Kaya Kaya, (Sam's Clients)?

Overall, I rated this Meal is only 50% of my satisfaction,
why?
the cashier, the quality of the chicken has spoil my mood.

2009 2009 is Over

As the first day of Raya and also My Birthday, I really wasting my time whereby I have not touch anything on my projects, assignments require by Sam, as well as my Final Year Project, need to add Extra Ingredients too make it SPECIAL. OMG--> I am getting Lazy no thanks to myself.

As per yesterday, I only able to get into my bed around 4am, whereby doing all the useless stuff, such as Blogging, Facebook-ing, and Drinking as well. OMG--> I am sooooo Terrible. I have been wasting too much of time for all this stuffs, and now I guess I should be worry for my future.

Today, after promising Sam to went out and get our Lunch at Xiang Xiang, I was back to my own room, whereby I have my Lunch with a 1.5 liter of 100 Plus, to make my stay awake, since I did not took any Coffee yet, as I only able to wake up at 12.20pm, when I receiving an sms from Sam. I need to prepare myself in a 10minutes mode, so your know how rushing am I just now. So, during that time, I only able to brush my teeth and taking a short bath, less than 8 minutes as I don't to be the one who know as "P" timer, If you guys or girls know me, I am always a "M" timer but of course if the person is "M" timer also, if not I will TRANSFORM into "P" timer.

After having my Lunch, I was sooo headache, maybe because I have not enough sleep or might well causes by the Heineken that I drank yesterday. OMG--> my drinking skill has been declining? I don't think so, this is because Minum Tidak Cukup. I guess only Sam will understand what I mean by "Minum Tidak Cukup". So I ended myself in the bed until 5pm a moment ago, whereby I receive call from my Godfather's Daughter, asking me quite many question, haha, so I have been chatting with her around 20 minutes I guess before she tell me that she need to go now as my Godfather is waiting for her to play "MAHJONG"

I guess I need to throw away all the bad habits that is still inside myself, if I should be the one worries, there are many works that need to be done, One Down, another is Coming, another Down, 2 more is Coming, what else if not assignments or projects.

At 1st I thought MY Birthday Present, if you all see my previous posting, I thought that was only a BELT. But the BOX got Hidden Department as well, I just discover it since SAM poke me on the MSN. OMG--> this products sure an exclusive and expensive product.

Well, just a moment ago, I went out with my friends, whereby at first, I thought we are going out to Dapau foods only, but he told me that he need to go The Spring, so my first perception was I thought that he wanted to get somethings else. But this time my six sense was totally wrongly, whereby we having our Dinner at Secret Receipt in The Spring Sarawak. This is the first time I dine in at a Quality Restaurant in Sarawak.It is actually a small birthday surprise for me I guess, I like that because I don't like to have a have others to spends for me, even it is my birthday. I like the ways whereby we pay for what we eat. I don't like that others people pay for what I eat, that why I Decline my friends request who wanted to have a birthday party for me, I now they will said I "jual mahal" but that the reality. Sorry if you guys or girls "terasa". Anyways, I would like to say Thank You for those who share to get me a "Special Present". I am really appreciated it.

Well, at the Secret Receipt, I get myself a cup of Hot Chocolate, and a plate of Chicken Kebab. The taste is good, I would like to give a 4 star rating for the menu that I choose. Overall it quite good for for dining in at Secret Receipt today. This is few of the item we get for our dinner at Secret Receipt:

Hot Chocolate since the day was so cold,

It really nice and I will rate it 4 star,

The Best things haven't arrive yet, after we had finish our dinner, Sam order us THREE types of Different Cake which something new for me, 3 slide of cake for my Birthday. I really like that style, since there are less people, and if we order one cake, I think we might not able to finish it. Limitation also, because only one taste. We ended up with 3 different cakes.

2009 2009 Continued

Well, on the 2009 2009, it was Hari Raya and also my Birthday. Seem nothing much can be done today since I wake up so late, around 3pm, as I was only get myself to bed at 5am in the morning.

During the early morning, my handphone seem to keep ringing, starting at early as 7.55am, whereby, one of my friends, Sook Yee, starting the day off by wishing me on my birthday. Then, as you all know, the mobile will not stop from ringing as more and more wishing messages are coming in just specially for me. A part from that, I do receive a call from my Godfather, wishing me on my birthday and he even ask me whether I received the reload for my mobile or not. That means my six sense is correct if you guys or girls got read my previous posting. I tell my reader regarding I guess I know who is the person who send me the RELOAD.

Many caring friends do SMS me, especially N.V.A Peng Soon and Sam, asking me whether what should I get for my lunch, but during that time I still Zzz Zzz, haha, so either I ignore their message without replying or I replay by asking them to Dapau whatever for me. But, I guess I should still have my Lunch with a pack of Maggi Mee, that what I get for myself on this few day. You know I know la, who ask me to wake up so late, and another issues is the Cafe is Out of Service (Closed) due to raya celebration.

Nevertheless, I was also busy replying all the post comment on my Facebook as many of my friends keep sending me wishing me on my birthday. That is why, I was on my bed late, anyways, that is not the reasons, I seldom get into bed in the Holiday in a early mode, as since it's holiday, no classes on the next day, why not I sleep a bit late, and wake up a bit late, right?

It a raining day in Unimas, that will make the day cooling as before this It was so Hot.

It happen only once in my life, and this would be a very special day. This year, 20 September fall on the 1st Day of Hari Raya, and also it would be my BIRTHDAY as well.

Nothing special happening this year, I cannot celebrate it with my friends in KL, as I still in Sarawak, in UNIMAS. I also cannot celebrate it with my family members because I did not make any advance purchase on my air ticket for my trip back to KL from Unimas. Therefore, what to do? Be lonely at the room by watching TVB DRAMA.

Anyways, I do enjoy a moment ago, going out with my friends and we had a badminton games. After that, we had a our dinner at a Chinese Restuarant, but the food not tasty at all. Poor guy.. John was the one who recommended us to eat that stuff. really no taste at all.

Just pass 12am, I hope that my main Wishes will come true, what I need at the moment is I wanted to GRADUATES on-time, that my main wishes. Other then that, I hope ENTIRE GROUP of Peoples who close to me, be well and healthy always. Not to forget, I hope my sister will do well in her SPM.
